    1. “Just get out of their way.”

Best advice to educators, EVER! If we just got out of their way more often we probably wouldn't be complaining about students lack of critical thinking ability. We are as much of the problem as we are the solution.

    2. an app that uses the phone camera to look at a specific object and show the person on the phone the floor plans and design of the project

the applications of this app could have a major impact on both industry and education.

    3. an experiment where they sat in wheelchairs in a hallway that met the standards set by the Americans with Disabilities Act, and found that even hallways that meet those standards can present challenges

Challenging the status quo... I wonder what made them question this.

    1. With the next generation of teachers

I wonder what this generation of teachers look like at Texas A&M. This comment is extremely biased. Only millennials and younger understand tech? I wonder if this author has heard of Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, or any of the other "fathers of tech".

      Interesting stats.

    3. one-credit elective

    4. sophisticated video game aimed to make calculus class a little less daunting.

That's a huge endeavor, however it reminds me of the teachers I work with using Angry Birds Space to teach Physics.

Yes, well, we know how well that conversation is going in the U.S... Don't reduce guns; "arm the teachers".

    2. involving young children, since some studies have suggested video games may have a stronger effect on them

This would actually make sense when thinking about the development of a child's brain.

    3. increased aggression

the APA did not conduct their own research, instead aggregated previous research... which, according to this article, at least some of the finding can't be replicated... makes you wonder.

    4. Science Finds Once Again That Violent Video Games Don't Turn People Into Rage Monsters

Timely, given recent comments by the President of the United States.

    5. weary trope

This is such a passe argument, it almost surprises me that there are still those out there, in power, who really believe that the human mind is that weak.
