    1. Interest groups may also form to represent companies, corporate organizations, and governments. These groups do not have individual members but rather are offshoots of corporate or governmental entities with a compelling interest to be represented in front of one or more branches of government.

      I'm curious about the safety of having interest groups represented in one or more government branches for everyone in the country. Imagine that since these interest groups have an inside source in the government who approves the passing of their product, they are able to pass laws or push laws not facilitating the backlash of an unsafe product because it was approved by the “government”.
