This is very similar to what we have today. This actually reminds me of places like Starbucks or Panera bread where people get their coffee or other beverages and hang out or do work. Could these modern establishments be influenced by this?

Depending on the society, they sometimes make these decisions solely to benefit themselves and other times make these decisions to benefit the society as a whole.
There has many many intances where a leader has made a decision solely to benefit themselves rather than society. People like this abuse their power and are not certified to lead.

All number checkers have their own methods, but I always number check on paper, crossing off each word and number in pencil as I confirm it.
I agree with this post because even using a computer can cause some technical difficulties. The old-school paper and pen is more reliable in my opinion because it is done manually and requires more focus.

If the research is based on a secondary source, such as U.S. Census Bureau data, the number checker will need to verify that the correct file was downloaded and review or replicate the author’s analysis.
I respect the depths that the number checker goes just to ensure quality research. Secondary sources must always be fact checked before usage.

I believe that this should have been a requirement since day one. Failing to do so gives the police too much power, and I feel like the fact that they were not required to do so made them above the law

As a congresswoman, I would be deeply concerned also. My question is, what does she plan to do moving forward? Were there any new laws or bills proposed to do something about this frightening matter? Especially since she is running for president.
