      1. The hunting party will be back by the next full moon.
      2. There is a big bear by the lake.
      3. This is how you make a spear.
      4. The river water made people sick, beware of it.
      5. This is how you get to where we buried our ancestors.
    2. 7% for the meme itself and 3% for the presentation.

I like how this assignment's percentage was broken up! I do think the meme should take more of the percentage since it is the main part of the assignment.

    3. 10% of the grade

I think is a good percentage for this assignment. It is a pretty involved project and will take a good chunk of time, so 10% captures the time and effort pretty well.

    4. 5% of grade

I think 5% is perfect for this assignment. It is not as involved as the cave painting one is, and if that is at 10%, then it makes sense this assignment would be worth less.

    1. Which topics are you particularly interested in studying this semester?

The topics I am most interested in are oral traditions, film/radio/TV, social media, truth in the digital age, artificial intelligence, and search in the age of Google.

    2. Information Overload

This reminds me of a video I watched that talked about how someone can be paralyzed with endless amounts of choice one person has when it comes to streaming services. You have too much choice and there is so much information out there, that the internet can be overwhelming and paralyzing. You can get millions of Google results in seconds but can feel overwhelmed when trying to figure out what google search to click on. We arguably have access to too much information at all times.

    3. a digital project to highlight and contextualize alumni on campus

I love this idea! I work at COAR, and I try to do alumni events and find ways to honor alumni in our organization, so I think a project like this is right up my alley. I also like this idea because I want to work on digital history projects in the future.

    4. Oral Histories

I love this idea for an assignment. In the future I want to go into public history, so I just think oral history projects are the coolest. It is a way to preserve history from the perspectives of people who lived it.
