    1. The way injustice often undermines our agency is by shrinking the horizons of what we think is possible.

      Over time, many people have lived by the ideas that have been relied on for hundreds of years. In what ways do people feel limited to their ideas, feeling the need to stick to the social norms or more "common" ideas? Does social media have a strong influence on others to the point where they believe that whatever they see on the media is completely reliable?

      Having scepticism to a certain extent can help the human mind come up with various questions, allowing them to deeply think about the topic and find value in them. However, while it may cause one to thoroughly think about what they do on the daily, it may pose a threat to them as a result of coming up with unnecssary and troublesome scenarios.

    3. a philosophical education should go beyond showing students how to be critical thinkers: it must also teach students to imagine how the world could be different than it is and, in so doing, to consider better ways for them and the world to be.

      Philosophy can be a very deep and complicated topic, so it is important that students not only acknowledge how and why certain ideas are perceived that way, but also find the different perspectives in which certain ideas can go about in order to better the world.
