When vaccines work, people stop noticing them.
Now that I actually think about it, I don't even remember half the vaccination that I've got in my lifetime. Why? Because they work! Crazy to think about!

perfect vaccine analogy. I’m not sure one exists; no single comparison can speak to all questions, concerns, and enthusiasms about vaccination.
Someone is always going to have a question or concern about it because it is such a new topic with so much information.
“We know that shaming of any kind just doesn’t work,” Cora Scott,
I feel like shaming someone would only make them feel a certain way and not receive the vaccination. Additionally, I feel like they would not listen to the COVID experts bc they already have a mindset of being shamed on.
there’s been a lot of focus on the individual
its crazy to think that the focus is on individuals when it is a whole pandemic
Each

don’t totally hit the mark
When using an analogy, metaphor, or simile; they are easier for people to remember but they do not always "hit the mark." I feel that the subject of COVID is to big of a subject.
umbrellas block out the rain, sunscreens shield us from burns and cancers, and castle guards fend off raids.
ANALOGIES!!
turned to analogies to help
If turning to analogies helps you as a writer and you are good at creating them in your head, you are one step ahead of the game. I know a lot of people who struggle creating analogies while writing.
Everyone is bad at describing the vaccines, including me.
When people think about a vaccine in todays society, I feel that the first vaccine they think about is the COVID vaccine. The COVID vaccine is such a new vaccine that not a lot of people know a lot about it. It is already simply hard explaining and describing a simple vaccine that has been around for years. Imagine the pressure someone would get to try and describe a new vaccine that hasn't been out for a long time.
