The quote from Locke is very forward thinking especially for the time. He is saying that people should embrace religion which in todays society not all are religious like they are back then, but they should find something to give them hope of eternal salvation. This is a religions way of thinking but eternal salvation is another word or phrase that can mean many different things to many different people

Often times a word can mean more than one thing, and people can have different definitions of the word. I overheard someone one time saying that world peace is very hard to accomplish and what we should work toward is a world tolerance

This reminds me of the reading we did for wednesday where the paster opened his doors to a different religion to help them out. This is also refreshing to see that it is not something that had only happened once and I am seeing it more and more around my home town with different religions being under one roof taking care of the same building
