Super interesting perspective. The notion of a child from the city and their reality of scientifically developed compared to rural communities.

    2. People who can demonstrate skills will be plentiful as soon as we learn to recognize them outside the teaching profession.

Outside the teaching profession, individuals are identified with demonstrated skills. Yet many of these skills require certificates or "proof" of skill mastery.

    3. Students who can be motivated to value the educational packages which their teachers obligate them to consume are comparable to Chinese peasants who can fit their flocks into the tax form provided by Borges

      Interesting analogy

Hmmmm. I wonder what the destructive tendencies were?

    3. Special curricula, separate classes, or longer hours only constitute more discrimination at a higher cost.

Very interesting point. I have not that about special curricula, longer hours being discrimination at a higher cost. If you flipped the perception or services for children not in poverty would it be discrimination?

    4. Today in the United States the black and even the migrant can aspire to a level of professional treatment

I believe black and migrants "can aspire" and yet there are still many barriers in their aspirations. The power and privilege of professional treatment remains in those who are part of the dominant socio-culture.

    5. The increasing reliance on institutional care adds a new dimension to their helplessness

This makes me think of the current mental health concerns within schools and society.

This is a constant reality. As times shift the value and feasibility of "things" becomes more ambiguous and abundant.
