      I dont really understand this part because it says such programs shouldn't necessarily focus on ending homelessness but go on stating ways to do just that.

      This prompted me to look up the average hourly wage in Utah which turns out to be 26$ an hour which I found surprising mostly because I have yet to make even half that number or personally known someone who make that much.

      Reminds me of an article I've read which basically goes over how experiencing homelessness was proven to have caused symptoms of mental illness among-st those experiencing it. The same article also brought up an interesting point of how it can be the other way around with mental illness causing people to become homeless.

      This had been a personal experience for me so I certainly understand this part

      This has been a main point in most texts I've read on the issue. Afford is the key word here. meaning the solution isn't just making more homes but making affordable ones.

      Its definitely easier to prevent homelessness and address the actual root of the problem instead of trying to solve homelessness
