    1. Consequentialism

Consequentialism is where actions are judges by their result which means that decisions can be determined as good or bag until the result of said decisions has happened. An example of this would be robin hood who would steal money from wealthily people which is a bad thing, however he would give that money back to the poor which mean his inherently bad decision was for a good cause so therefore it is justifiable. This creates a grey area where its hard to determine the line between good and bad. It also raises the question what something goof happened for a large group but its very bad for a small group, or vice versa.

    1. What financial motivations does Twitter have? How does that influence Twitter’s design?

I think twitter designs their platform for situations like this to go viral. This is because the more viral something goes the more publicity it brings to the app. Whether it is good or bad, all press is good press because they are getting the eyes and attention of a large population. Then since they have such a large audience they can have a massive financial gain by showing ads that large corportaions pay twiter to show.
