The tight feedback loop (edit story → run test → see results in Storybook) is excellent for DX. It encourages testing early and often, basically from the same place you develop components.
Given that Storybook 9 is built for this testing paradigm, this seems like a forward-looking model for UI development + testing.

Confirmation Bias
Confirmation bias is the tendency for people to favor information that supports their existing beliefs while ignoring or downplaying evidence that contradicts them. Instead of evaluating all information objectively, individuals often seek out sources
Hick's Law predicts that the time and the effort it takes to make a decision, increases with the number of options. The more choices, the more time users take to make their decisions.
This principle is used in lots UX and UI design to make menus simpler and reduce load by limiting how many options are shown. The effect isn’t completely linear, decision time increases more noticeably when going from a few options to several, but the difference becomes smaller as more choices are added.
