Yes!! This is the conundrum right here. What about how we have developed and transformed. And since creeds are aspirational in nature, are these aspirations centered on what was, what should or could be, or both, or none of these?

What is patriotism? Does this issue of not knowing how to be patriotic become especially polarizing around holidays or elections? Is it always on the back burner continuing to simmer?
