Hi David – no, I hadn’t heard of VFT, so thank you for that. I’ve had a look and it’s exactly what we’re talking about – rather than starting with a set of alternatives (doctor, lawyer, accountant) from which to make a single decision, starting with a set of values and generating a range of new, exciting, values-focused alternatives. A portfolio decision around what we do with our time is also then made possible. For example, you might decide that you want your life to be about helping people realise their potential. In that cause you could own a corporate training company, sit on the board of a non-profit which fights child poverty and help the local school with developing a social media strategy. All bound together by the idea that your time is contributing to building skills, removing barriers and fostering connectivity **in order to help people realise their potential**.Thanks for this contribution. I wonder what other research is out there in this space. – Master of Ambiguity
