    1. I 100% agree with this article. With the fast and demanding need in technology, fewer and fewer factories will start to require more machines work and less human workers.

    2. Find and summarize a news article that talks about the positive or negative impacts of a computing innovation. Is the technology itself positive or negative? Or have people used the technology in positive and/or negative ways? The news article is titled “Will machines eventually take on every job?” by Rachel Nuwer. Nuwer states ” According to one unpublished study, the coming wave of technological breakthroughs endangers up to 47% of total employment in the US.” Technology is advancing at a rate that jobs maybe soon be something that is at risk. Machines are becoming more advance where they can operate without human interaction. This will eventually lead to a replacement of human labor. This is one of the negative impacts that technology will have on humans.

I think this concept is extremely interesting and relevant. With machines becoming more advance, 47% of jobs are at risk. However, I wonder how this will effect the natural labor force often examined in the studies of economics. Will these jobs become obsolete or transition into a management position?

    1. Passive Wi-Fi is a way to generate Wi-fi transmissions that use 10,000 times less power than the current battery-draining standard. Developed at the University of Washington, it is an exponential increase in connectivity, which will enable other types of advances. However, this technology will be very expensive and not available for many people.

I agree with the lower energy consumption, but dont you think that it should be made cheaper for the people so that the mass population can use it for truly having an effect ?
