Although the paper of Alberti KG, 2009¹ is very cited (more than 2000 times) and is very helpful for managing metabolic syndrome, there are some gaps in the diagnosis of abdominal obesity. We discussed this gaps in our review,² and also, we offered solutions such as "What is the best available evidence for measuring waist circumference?"
