      Please be aware when choosing cell line models that some are misidentified and do not correspond to the expected tissue or disease. The KB cell line is one example of a misidentified cell line. It is cross-contaminated with HeLa and is actually cervical adenocarcinoma, not oral squamous cell carcinoma.
