      In that case it will be interesting to try the Gaussia luciferase mutant GlucM23 (Park SY, 2017; Lindberg et al, Chem. Sci., 2013, 4, 4395-4400; Lindberg E, 2013) which appears to be the brightest and the smallest luciferase of all.
