      Here we present a new genetic model (Lck<sup>Cre/+</sup> Map3k1<sup>f/f</sup>) used to analyse Mekk1 (encoded by Map3k1) conditionally in T cells. Our research shows new roles for Map3k1 in T cell development and in unconventional T cells. There is also an expanded view on the research (1). This work continues the genetic analysis of Map3k1 in T cells (2-5). Other related works are available analysing Mekk1 activation by cytokines and hyperosmotic stress (6-8).
