      The absence of established biomarkers does indeed make diagnosis uncertain and this uncertainty applies to other psychiatric anomalies. The missing heritability of gene events predisposing to anomalies can now only be roughly determined. Also there are expected factorial combinations (billions) of epistatic SNPs suggesting similar numbers of distinct diagnoses.
