The Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and other causes of human respiratory failures appear to be X-linked (PMID 27188625). OMIM shows human TASK-1 to be autosomal, that would imply if Task-1 is involved in SIDS that an interaction with an X-linkage might also be considered.
