PRISMA describes elements to report; not how to conduct a systematic review. THe Newcastle/Ottawa score is appropriate for non-RCT but not for RCTs. Of the 2 RCTs included in this review, Rezk 2016, for example, may not have scored as high on Cochrane RoB as on the Newcastle scale.
