In the tetanus patients aged 1 to 12 years, vitamin C treatment was associated with a 100% reduction in case fatality rate (95% CI from -100% to -94%). In tetanus patients aged 13 to 30 years, vitamin C treatment was associated with a 45% reduction in case fatality rate (95% CI from -69% to -5%).
