Nobody just says to do what you want. They always first demonstrate that they understand the standard arguments for tilting or not tilting, and then say to disregard them. That demonstration shows that they are above the other groups, not below them.

I'm not saying everything Mao did was great, but this was a pretty good program. I'm sure he had very little to do with it.
