It just so happens, that the Yod, Heh, Vau, Heh of the sacred name of YHWH correspond with Sight, Hearing, Taste & Smell but not those cut off derivatives which we claim as our own seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling.Those externalized senses which never "return and report" to God are not reliable except as blocks which the Devil places between us and Holy Spirit. In this way the 5 physical senses become the Devil's "priesthoods and powers" by which he successfully deceives the world.

Proverbs 20:12 – The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, Yahweh has made even both of them.

Isaiah 11:3 – His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears.

“If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

– 1 Corinthians 12:17

As I mentioned above, this theme in the BOM and elsewhere in books and the actual Book of Life comes down to faithful reproduction for the passing on of WHOLE BODIES of information. Whole bodies here should be thought of in a broad way including the literal and figurative senses.

When examining revelatory transferal of information whether Lehi’s visions, Joseph Smith’s First Vision, Mohammed's channeling from Gabriel or Saul’s Visitation on the road to Damascus, what is being described in these scriptural accounts is typically multi-sensory. There are sights, sounds, tastes, smells and sometimes extreme shaking or constriction. But were these in every case detected by the physical senses or were they sometimes only perceived spiritually? Or is it in fact necessary that there be a separation between the two? I believe that what we commonly refer to as the five carnal senses exist only as extensions of their spiritual counterparts. We read the words on the pages, where holy writ admonishes us to activate the spiritual senses, but do we really see with eyes to SEE or hear with ears to HEAR?

The passing of info/energy/knowledge from one gene-ration to the next is often visualized and spoken of in terms of a light bridge or rainbow bridge. The process being described here as an abridgment should also be understood to signify the building and maintenance of this type of metaphysical technology for the transposing of whole bodies of information via spiritual connection between The Fathers and The Children.

There is a Qabbalistic teaching that says that the secret of the Torah is in the first letter. If you cannot understand the secret from the first letter, God, in His infinite mercy, repeats the secret, in greater detail, in the first word. If you cannot understand the secret from the first word, God, in His infinite mercy, repeats the secret, in greater detail, in the first verse and so on and so forth. The Torah, The First Five Books of Moses and Qur'an have been mathematically proven to contain this pattern of embedded recursion. The BOM is unique in that it was revealed in Victorian English but bears the marks of coming from a text originally recorded in some type of proto-hamosemitic language as it is claimed in this section and later reiterated by Moroni. I would still be interested in seeing what would come out if we were to run the BOM through a computer as I do believe it to be a type of inter-dimensional artifact.

That being said, it is probably a good idea that we pay special attention to first letter, word and verse of the BOM. Following the flow of First Principles -Mythos, Topos, Logos (which in more religious terms could be termed The Works of The Father, The Works of Man, The Works of The Devil but in less dogmatic terms would be Order - Humanity - Nature) we will find ourselves situated right in the middle of two powerful forces. This is one very useful and enlightening understanding of the term -Middle Earth. Human beings, as bipedal Temples of The Lord have our heads oriented towards Heaven and are perfectly positioned to be the stewards of Earth. If there is a break or obstruction in the influx of spirit anywhere in this tripartite system it can be located in Middle Earth since here life truly exists as the confluence as well as continuance of above and below, immaterial and material.

Referencing the Fire in the Meeting Tent - A Flame within a Tetrahedron - The Pyre Amid

One of the shortest verses in the entire BOM but one of the most powerfully significant. It should not be glossed over. It should not go unnoticed that the short phrase refers specifically and solely to Nephi's Father, Lehi. And it is not a random coincidence that it appears on the heels of such a powerful description of internal processes and their outward effects.

The internal processes described here and their specific effects upon the outward vessels of the characters involved are known as the Flame in the Meeting Tent due to the geometric matching up of symbology with actual workings of the spirit. It is just one way of explaining the interactive relationship between inner and outer, symmetrical and asymmetrical, Maker and Man. And this analogy is one that would be very familiar or easily imagined by most if not all of our ancient ancestors.

The imagery of a Flame in a Frame is a pure symbol in that both the symbol and the thing symbolized are in essence the same or are likenesses for and of each other. Self similarity is the principle set forth. So we should see that the raging Fire of Life or Light of Christ indwelling Lehi's person projected sufficient energy to protect him from those who would do him harm. Just as it is Lehi's words which project the power from his Fire Within one can draw the direct correlation seeing how literal light projected through a fabric stretched over the pyramidal framework of a turning tetrahedron shape will produce all the letters of the original Hebrew and Arabic alphabets. Even the fractal inlay of the first verse of Genesis as it relates back upon itself to the first word and the first word back upon the first Hebrew letter in the book - This First Word broken down to the meaning embedded within each letter as a pictogram tells us "In-Fire-Six-Thorn" which speaks to the flame nested in the six-sided tetrahedron structure.

This theme of energy forcefully passed between Father and Son and the powerful effects are repeated throughout the BOM. The fact that these things are seen to occur so drastically and instantaneously in no way should make the instances recorded in scripture less credible to our minds. They only clearly indicate a closer proximity between causal realms and the realm of effects. This does not necessitate any complications in our understanding of the time-line since anciently there have been times when the causal and effectual realms have been closer and within scripture we find that they will again be rolled together as a scroll at future points. Just because the shocking effects of spiritual energy are observed and felt by us through more of a buffer or delay does not mean that they do not occur.

The false construct of the world and the world-view of those who are of it.

Entities who choose to engage in "reimagining" reap many benefits due to the essential blessing wherein they are made "agents unto themselves" - directing the flow of spirit to God always brings back an immense return "unto themselves". Entities who exercise the power vested in them to detach from The Father become like "agents" in the Matrix movie series - all of one artificial and murderous mind. But Zion is of One Heart and not merely one mind.

Once again the theme of conductivity between Creator and Creation comes up. And a lack of conductivity specifically is shown to be the cause of inefficiency in the flow of spirit through Father and Children.

Constructs which mistake the head as superior to the heart or as an adequate starting place for imaginings will always lead to destruction since the head can not handle nor is it designed for the necessary embedding and recursion which is a seed bearing fruit in itself. But it is sure that, before the brain breaks down and eventually falls/fails, those who mistake it as the best foundation will inevitably turn to mocking them who follow through with flow of spirit through and back to the heart. (see Lehi's Dream 1 Nephi 8:26-27 and Nephi's visitation of the same dream in 1 Nephi 11:35-36)

This phrase,"foolish imaginations" can and ought to be read as the "FULLish imaginations of his heart." In earlier verses we see that a FULL rendering of Lehi's heart brought about fulfillment on several levels already. This "fulfillment" even took the immediate form of a "filament" (pillar of light which struck a rock in front of Lehi just as the communication struck his heart with overpowering energy). The electrical charging effects of Full Imagining can be transmitted beyond the individual and others can be made to feel these effects, however, unless they are allowed to take hold in the heart where embedding and recursion can take place, then they are short lived and sometimes can have disastrous overall effect upon others who rely on second-hand spirit and external motivation. (see 1 Nephi 3:28-31 and 1 Nephi 17:53-54)

The Egyptian Book of the Dead as it is most commonly called today was and is also known as the Book of Breathings or the Book of Coming Forth by Day. In this last title it is strongly implied that, besides being a funerary text the book should be understood and read as a type of dreaming journal too. This very aptly applies to what we are reading here with regards Lehi's writings of the "many things" which he saw in "visions and dreams" and which he "prophesied and spake" (breathings) unto his children.

The combination of "learning of the Jews" with "language of the Egyptians" should be kept in mind throughout a reading of the BOM and will be especially plain at certain parts.

In the first paragraph there is an evocation of the triad of First Principles: Mythos, Typos, Logos (GOD, Place, Word) The Mythic moves and opens up spaces. From that spatial existence known by/as Persons and Places come Things - works/words, art/artifacts, etc. Myths open spaces and rational accounts limit them. These are two parts of one eternal process. Mythos creates space through its mysterious movements. Then within the spatial existence opened by Mythos we have a spatial/special relationship between Peope & Place which always begins to generate Names and other Words. From there the Spirit continues to flow through linguistic channels (Logos) and finally deposited back into the realm of Myth to begin again. [If at any point in this process there is a failure to complete and continue the cycle then what comes about is "vain imaginings" as opposed to the reimagining encouraged on this site. This will be a major theme throughout the BOM.]

Limitation - One man's account, one man's knowledge. The content itself is a product of the quality of experience and great knowledge accumulated through the person of Nephi (who is likely a higher dimensional type for millions of others who share to some degree in the experience of "favor" and "goodness" on any and all planes). The accuracy of recording relies on the "Learning of the Jews" (Scientific Judgements and Measurements of Truth) and the "Language of the Egyptians" (Science of Expression of Truth through Active Arts).<br> Compare Alma 32:26-43

All contents of his heart poured out to the Lord in prayer. Returning that which was inherited from Mythos in the First Place. On the first page of the BOM we have the illustration of a Full Imagining cycle and a witness to the fruit resulting from the recursion. (see 1 Nephi 1:15 or the paragraph at the bottom of this page)

This describes a type of Dreaming Gate through which Father Lehi passed. Dreaming and the Navigation of Dreamscapes are the basis of ALL Shamanic practices. As a Father-Figure occupying Higher-Dimensional space with a trickle-down effect traceable across space/time in 3D levels of reality it is important to see Lehi as a Shaman. And the BOM gives us the chance to see him begin to see himself as such. In this way it is hoped that Vital Information/Energy is transmitted from one body to another. Quaking and Trembling is referred to as the Way of the Ancients or the process of "Beginning as in Times of Old" (see Mormon 9:27) and is a natural effect of transmission and transition of Energy/Information/Power from one Person/Group/Place/Time to another.

Typical examples of Dreaming Gates are when the (active) dreamer passes with at least some degree of consciousness from one dreamstate into another by remaining in a dreamstate and going to bed to enter into another while still retaining awareness of the previous dreamstate(s).

Whereas Father Lehi prayed with "all his heart" in 1 Nephi 1:5...here, 10 verses later, we have his "whole heart" being filled. On the first page of the BOM we have the illustration of a Full Imagining cycle and a witness to the fruit resulting from the recursion. The entire record is full of and meant to function as a template for FruitFULL Imaginings as much as it is also a warning against Vain Imaginings or Imaginings which lack embedding and recursion. Dead Dreams = Dead Works...a breakdown of the eternal dreaming process which is the Great Work of God.
