    1. Instructional design

      e.g., Can have groups annotate a set of texts instead of entire class seeing all peers' comments. This seems like it would on the one hand increease marking but on the other hand increase student accountability and engagement.

      Need to be a text surrogate --- OCR or pdf but what about .doc files? --- as scanned documents saved as image files (.png) won't work.
