    1. A monoclonal antibody

Patent specification only ever refers to murine (mouse-derived) monoclonal antibodies.

    1. 9. The computing device of claim 1

And now I can add my own annotation. Hmm, okay now, how do I replicate what you did, and add a hyp.is back-link to the citing Apple v. Motorola case, pinpointing where this specific claim 9 is referenced?

Okay, I see the share button showed me "https://hyp.is/-JzDTg2KEee5a7P1hOD7OQ/casetext.com/case/apple-inc-v-motorola-inc-5" but why is my only option to "share" with "Only me"? Anyway, I'm starting to get a feel for how this would work.

I think I would want to be able to do is assign designations to each part of each patent claim. Here example, "instructions for processing the first command;" might be called 7479949.9.3 (because it's the 3rd element of claim 9). I would want to be able to each each element in its own row on the left side of a 2-column table, and use the right side to plop in information from other sources regarding infringement or prior art pertaining to the specific element in that row.

See illustrations in this article: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/claim-charts-patent-litigation-brief-introduction-andrew-schulman

A client of mine is interested in automated processes for generating such charts, as well as for the task I mentioned yesterday of taking chunks from deposition transcripts and creating tables/charts around them. Sort of a combination of a wiki and a chart. Do you have an article you've written that I could pass on to them, where it would be only a short hop to what I've just described (if it makes any sense) from what you've written? I'd like to get you in touch with them soon.

    1. 9

See https://www.google.com/patents/US7479949 but I want to link specifically to claim 9 ("The computing device of claim 1, including: [] instructions for detecting one or more first finger contacts with the touch screen display while a web browser application is displayed on the touch screen display; ...")

    1. Comparing two texts is often difficult enough; aligning, or showing lack of alignment between, text and non-text materials (or quasi-text such as computer software) is more so, or at least more problematic than the scant attention to claim charts would suggest.

      This is a test.
