      I don't know how deeply we want to get into this in this textbook, but Nightingale has become a bone of contention regarding her actual role and influence in the last few years. Mary Seacole was a contemporary nurse of color who was forgotten by history. Many feel that Nightingale's genius was in her use of and visual display of stats (evidence based decision making!)     1. I am on a soapbox recently about using plain language when possible, and am really rooting for differentiating this textbook as being more easily understood than others, from many recent conversations with our ASN students. Legalities means laws or legal issues. I'd pick one of those.
