One can't help but wonder if the naming of the private detective Milton Arbogast who was hired by Mary's boss to retrieve the money in the movie Psycho was subtly done on purpose?? 😮🤯
-gast (female dog, bitch) as a pejorative in Welsh
Arbo gast as "greedy bitch"
I've noticed that there are many pejorative terms containing "gi" that are listed in various online dictionaries: bolgi - glutton brolgi - boaster cachgi - coward celwyddgi - liar chwiwgi - rogue clapgi / clepgi - gossiper / babbler cilgi - coward llechgi - sneak / skulker llwfrgi / llyfrgi - coward
