Mais dans cette entreprise, la philosophie de Heidegger, ou plutôt devrait-on dire le roman métaphysique qu’il a construit, la Saga de l’Estre, ne nous paraît d’aucun secours et d’aucune utilité, ni pour y apporter des solutions concrètes, bien sûr, mais ni même seulement pour penser ces problèmes de manière adéquate. Et sur ce point l’aventure intellectuelle de Jean Vioulac, aujourd’hui achevée, en constitue certainement, comme d’autres mais sans doute plus que d’autres, du fait de sa cohérence et de sa rigueur, une démonstration éclatante.
