This link can not be read by the screen reader as there is no text between the that describe the link but instead it has other <span> html elements

YouTube offers a visually appealing interface, but it also raises concerns about accessibility. For example, the reliance on thumbnails without descriptive alt text limits usability for screen reader users. Improvements in these areas will enhance the inclusion and accessibility of different user groups.

Testing out making annotations in the browser with Hypothes.is by only using my keyboard.

• F7 to turn on Carrot browsing extension
• Ctrl+Shift+H to turn on Hypothesis
• Use Ctrl and arrow keys to move about the page
• Shift + arrow keys to highlight section
• Alternately Shift+Ctrl+ arrow keys to go by word
• Tap a or h to open up an annotation or highlight respectively
• For annotations, type the note, tab to add tags, and then post.

These hyperlinks would be much more friendly to a person using a screen reader.
