While I could have missed it (and I most likely did), this article would have been more meaningful if effective strategies were presented to support a child's brain development.

When would children have learned to think this way if not innate?

If these claims have been overturned, why are Piaget's stages of development still widely taught and referenced? What am I misunderstanding here?

Particularly in thecase of widely used educational tools, deci-sions taken by a small number of designersshape the way educators have to think aboutteaching and learning with technology.
This is a perpetual problem for educators. Whether it is curriculum designers or educational technology, people expect educators and students to adapt and make due to inefficient and insufficient tools instead of creating tools that are applicable to diverse learners and learning spaces.
