In practice, tracking all authors in all copyright notices is quite cumbersome. Instead, often only the original author is credited here even when copyright is shared with additional contributors. A more reasonable approach is to credit all authors collectively, e.g. as “the FooProject contributors” or “Original Author and others”. However, I am not sure whether that results in a valid copyright notice as the copyright holders must be clearly recognizable.

an estimated 50 liters of bovine serum is needed and depending on age a single cow fetus can yield between 150 and 550 milliliters of serum that means to 00:07:33 create a single burger you need the blood of between 90 and 333 cow fetuses until a synthetic or plant-based alternative to fbs is found
- FBS volumes needed for a single lab grown burger are impractical

Guidelines do very little. Developer discipline is not a reliable method of encouraging best practices, they have to be enforced to be reliable.

do I really have to do something like that in order to have my local modules working? it's quite impracticable to explain it to a team! there's nothing a little bit more straightforward?

Explicitly exposing any attributes that might get overridden by a parent seems impractical to me.

For instance, one recent blog entry from the Irish Data Protection Commission discussing events at schools borders on the absurd:“Take the scenario whereby a school wants to take and publish photos at a sports day – schools could inform parents in advance that photographs are going to be taken at this event and could provide different-coloured stickers for the children to wear to signify whether or not they can be photographed,” the Commission suggested. The post goes on to discuss the possibility of schools banning photographs at a high school musical, but suggests that might be unwieldy.

At Google, our attitude has always been that users should be able to control the data they store in any of our products, and that means that they should be able to get their data out of any product. Period. There should be no additional monetary cost to do so, and perhaps most importantly, the amount of effort required to get the data out should be constant, regardless of the amount of data. Individually downloading a dozen photos is no big inconvenience, but what if a user had to download 5,000 photos, one at a time, to get them out of an application? That could take weeks of their time.
