    1. The only negative to this method is that it may not ALWAYS work. If the data is faulty, or the link is inaccurately provided by the sender, Gmail won’t be able to recognise and include the unsubscribe button in Gmail.
    2. You may find this link isn’t available straight away, after a few emails one should appear, this is a common technique with mailing list providers.

    1. "+" is a completely valid character in an email address; as defined by the internet messaging standard published in 1982(!) RFC 822 (page 8 & 9)... Any website claiming anything else is wrong by definition, plus they are prohibiting me and many fellow anti-spam activists from tracking where inbound spam comes from:

    1. t's also why it is so annoying to people who actually know what they are doing, when randomly the browser decides to take over a function provided for decades by the OS network stack, and with no notice start bypassing all the infrastructure they set up to their liking (like your hosts file) and funelling all their browsing habits to some shady company (Cloudflare).

    1. Tried to buy keyg at its 90% off sales price but no matter what payment method I choose I keep getting a "Due to processing fees the minimum amount is 100 cents."I'm trying to figure out if there is any way around this, and if not then why can you list a game at a price below $1 if it isn't actually possible for it to be bought at said price?

    1. Couldn't find on Steam. https://steamdb.info/app/793300/ claims that it is there, but https://store.steampowered.com/app/793300/?curator_clanid=4777282&utm_source=SteamDB just redirects to home page.

Don't redirect to a different URL, esp. without a message explaining why it did so instead of keeping me on the page that I request. That's just incorrect behavior, and a poor UX. Respond with a 404 if the page doesn't exist.!

That way (among other things), I could use Wayback Machine extension to see if I can find a cached version there.

But even that (http://web.archive.org/web/*/https://store.steampowered.com/app/793300) is saying "huh?" so I'm confused.

Where did it go and why?

I guess it's no longer available, because this page says:

      section_type ownersonly
      ReleaseState unavailable

      ... but why?

    1. Without this information, very likely your question will not be answered, frustrating both yourself and anyone else who does want to help, because they are unable to do so

    1. I selected the WordPress smilie for an arrow so I could bring up the graphic with a couple of keystrokes, as opposed to adding an image.

Are these links actually supposed to take me somewhere? I'm using Firefox...
