A gold plated and Cartier engraved Royal KMM typewriter. It was engraved with 1054 names by Warner MacDonald in 1939 at cost of $5,000. It was exhibited at the 1939 Worlds Fair and presented to the owner's grandfather in 1940. He was ultimately the president of the company. Antiques Roadshow appraised it at $30,000 - 40,000.

Advice for polishing and cleaning up nickel plating

Others recommend penetrating oil or WD-40 in combination with 0000 steel wool which should be enough to remove corrosion, but not damage the nickel plating.

I've also seen Marty Morren suggest 0000 inside Dremel tools for dealing with nickel plated key rings.

Besides, why go the AI route when there are so many already available custom and chromed machines out there? There is way more creativity in reality.
