    1. ingle team can’t develop every possible solution to a given problem.

This is an extremely important concept, no one team can create every solution possible most time workers do what works despite what would, in theory work better. Developing a new work flow involves a series of tests and a change in boundaries that might be risky for the company at large. But no one team knows every solution and multiple teams coming at a problem is good.

    2. wide variety of methods for any given project.

Having a variety of methods to get to a solution is exteremely important as a lot of people can come at a problem with different angles and solve it differently. However, this can breed confusion as to which way is the "right" way and which way is the "wrong way" It also may seem like their way might not work but we should do a though examination from their side to see why they think it might work and maybe square that up with the harsh reality.

    1. Big tech has benefited from an educational dynamic that consistently underfunds public education but demands increased technology to prepare the workers of the future, providing low-cost solutions in exchange for data and the potential for future product loyalty

This is a pattern most of us are familiar with. The best example I know is Apple's launch of the iPad in LA schools without saying, or knowning, how it will be used. Apple has a long history of testing its products out on users. Google habitually does the same, offering products for "free" in exchange for data and expanding a user base for its products.

    1. some projects to add to the world of linked data

I'm so excited to hear an update on this project!

    1. This stuff is all rather boring or frustrating when you just want to get your app finished
    2. Handling 401s well is important for the user's experience. They won't happen often (though more often than I expected), but really do break everything if you're not careful. Getting a good authentication abstraction library for Vue or Ember or whatever you are using should help with a lot of the boring parts. You'll probably need to define some extra strategies/rules for this cookie session approach, but if it's anything like in ember-simple-auth they're so simple it feels like cheating, because the Rails app is doing all of the hard work and you just need the js part to spot a 401 and handle logging in and retrying whatever it was doing before.

    1. Building an app with all the modern best practices — code-splitting, offline support, server-rendered views with client-side hydration — is fiendishly complicated. SvelteKit does all the boring stuff for you so that you can get on with the creative part.

    1. Keeping bootstrap-sass in sync with upstream changes from Bootstrap used to be an error prone and time consuming manual process. With Bootstrap 3 we have introduced a converter that automates this.

    1. Exercise Guidelines

I've found these exercises work best with time limits.

    2. faculty designer.

I think I need more. I'm not a faculty designer, so...where does that leave me? Also, do you mean course designer?

    1. probing questions and the faculty needs to ask design question

This mighjt be a good place to supply examples of what a course-design question might look like and what a subject-matter question might be.

    1. workshop engagements

not sure what this means yet.

    2. This text is a less about Going Further and more about Getting Started: By using (or even better, adapting and remixing) this text as the floor plan for enrichment or development, we can and ought to be critical of our work under the guise of improving student experiences.

      move up? feels top-line.

    3. even better, adapting and remixing

hmmm. why is adapting and remixing "even better"?

    4. With the future in flux for all of higher ed, especially in more marginalized settings such as all-women and historically black colleges and universities, this type of collaboration is not only a positive step, but highly encouraged.

I think I'd move this up to your intro.

    5. oward an efficient, effective, appealing, engaging and inspiring acquisition of knowledge.

I think here I'd like to see a concrete example.

    6. Teaching in 2021, in the midst of a pandemic that is causing serious and widespread disruption to student attention,

Is that just in 2021? Or does 2020-2021 just underscore what you have known for a long time?

    1. As a genius of construction man raises himself far above the bee in the following way: whereas the bee builds with wax that he gathers from nature, man builds with the far more delicate conceptual material which he first has to manufacture from himself. In this he is greatly to be admired, but not on account of his drive for truth or for pure knowledge of things.
