      While FedWiki's design may have influenced the card like design of Andy Matuschak's online notes, his inspiration for it was the 2011-era Tweetie app for iPad.

    1. Shout-out to the notion of "federated wikis" being developed by Ward Cunningham, who developed the first wiki, and Mike Caulfield and Tim Owens.

    1. One thing I held on to during fedwiki was that it wasn’t intended to be wikipedia, and to me that meant it wasn’t intended to produce articles so much as to sustain and connect ideas in formation that might find their way into article-like things on other platforms.

    1. So let’s take #fedwiki. I love Mike Caulfield. I love that he invited me to join the first #fedwikihappening which I truly enjoyed and learned SO MUCH from.
