    1. First version of a report that checks a set of URLs using Selenium WebDriver to operate Hypothesis in Chrome, counts annotations from the perspective of both the extension and via, and compares those counts to results from stream and api search.

One known non-H anomaly is that no more than 20 results will be reported for stream search. In theory we can send CONTROL+END (or a JS ScrollTo) to operate the stream's infinite scroll. In practice that does not work, at least not for the Chrome driver.

Here I am focusing on H-related anomalies.

    1. John Deere is a company, by the way, that is seriously serious about preventing people from copying their stuff. So serious, in fact, that they even locked the PDF they sent to the Copyright Office. No modifying the document. And no copying passages. Really, John Deere? How am I supposed to highlight all that’s wrong in this document now?

      Use Hypothesis.

    1. Emerging specs for Web annotation envision standard ways to annotate not only text but also images, audio, and video. As enterprise-grade tools emerge for capturing and annotating meetings, I hope they'll interoperate in standard ways. I also hope they'll be as easy to use as Hangouts on Air.

    1. The blog post in which Ben Balter proposes that term was unpublished when I read it. But since the blog is hosted on a public GitHub repository I could not only read the post in draft form but also follow the discussion with invited reviewers and observe how that discussion influenced the draft.

With Hypothesis this kind of thing becomes available for /any web page/.
