    1. Find Alarm now replaces Get All Alarms, retrieving all alarms or only those which match filter criteria

Can't believe what I long called "by far and away Siri's most important function in my life" must now be intentionally configured and (non-verbally) triggered in the form of a Siri Shortcut.

      Thank you.

    2. Transcribe Audio generates text from an audio file

This technically works, yes, but - as I noticed on the very first beta build - the actual output has an absurdly low character(?) limit, after which it simply cuts off.

    1. Open the YouTube video you want to watch and press Ctrl+M. This keyboard shortcut can make YouTube hide the process bar even you haven’t paused the YouTube video.

To capture a Youtube video screenshot without the player controls, use the Hyde browser extension and the keystroke Ctrl+M to hide/unhide the controls.

Further, one can use the Windows Snipping Tool via Win-Shift-S to effect a screenshot to the clipboard for saving and editing.

    1. Currently Xournal++ does not have shortcuts/keybindings configurable in the preferences. However you can write your custom plugin to achieve exactly that.

Must learn (and install) Lua (version >=5.3) to make custom shortcuts for Xournal++ via personally made plugins.

    1. ShortWeb adds the ability to automate actions on web pages. It allows you to click links, fill in fields, and more. You can write code to make this happen or just tap through a web page while ShortWeb is recording. You can then save a set of actions for a web page as a macro within the app. Then, in Shortcuts, you can call this macro within a Shortcut. This means that you can automate your way through web pages with Shortcuts easily. There are a few bugs in the ShortWeb app, but on the whole, it’s a solid experience. Give this one a look if you want to or already have created Shortcuts that work on the web! It’ll give you a plethora of new tools and ideas to work with.

    1. “Find Notes” can now retrieve more than 26 notes at a time

Also, this is not currently working.

    2. Create Tab Group

I can't really see any reason for this action to exist without the ability to accept input (which it can't.) Automating the creation of an empty Tab Group doesn't make much sense but it sure would to automate moving tabs around.

    1. I knew that Sol Golomb had been collaborating on a textbook going back almost fifteen years. It's great to see it not only finally come out, but to see it published with his name in the title!

I had the pleasure of taking Sol's combinatorics class at USC several years before he passed away, so I also got an early look at much of the material as he was using it in class. It was scheduled at my lunchtime, so I took the time to drive over to USC at lunch twice a week to sit in. My favorite part was seeing proofs for various things I'd seen in other branches of mathematics, but done in a combinatorial way.

Somewhere knocking around I think I've got audio recordings and notes of the class that I'll have to do something with one day.

Many talk about Sol's ability to do calculations in his head, but like most mathematicians he knew the standard tricks and shortcuts. To me this was underlined by the fact that he always did long division on the board when there wasn't a simple short cut.
