    1. every figure of consciousness is followedand replaced by a new figure of consciousness, until eventuallyabsolute knowledge is attained. Every figure of consciousness issooner or later confronted with its own incompleteness and in-ternal contradictions.

Everchanging nature of identity seen in the everchanging nature or fragments/figures of consciousness, replacing one another until harmony is reached between contradictions and duality, into full knowledge

    2. Thus the stoics, for example, believed in a purely internal free-dom that is in no respect related to external reality. The interior-ity of consciousness and the external determination of reality arehere thought, as it were, independently of each other. However, this is an untenable position,

Consciousness HAS to adapt to the environment

    1. I am Cuauhtémoc

Throughout the poem, Joaquin embodies various historical figures from Mexican history, including Cuauhtémoc (the last emperor of Tenochtitlan), Miguel Hidalgo (the father of Mexican Independence), Jose Maria Morelos (military leader during the Mexican War of Independence), Vicente Guerrero (2nd president of Mexico), Benito Juárez (26th president of Mexico), Pancho Villa (General in the Mexican Revolution which overthrew Porfirio Diaz), and Emiliano Zapata (key leader in the Mexican Revolution). All of these people are shown to care deeply about their people and their country, and their lives and deaths are seen as important parts of the story of Mexico and its path to independence and freedom.

    1. he question arises as to what kind of individuals benefitfrom the introduction of ridesharing.Smith(2016) provides some survey evidence on this issue. In 2015, the Pew Research Center surveyed 4,787 adult Americans on issues related to the digital economy. Part of the survey was focused on ridesharing. The survey found three interesting statistics:(i) about 15% of Americans use ridesharing apps, but one-third do not know about these services; (ii)the use of ridesharing platforms is more popular among young adults who live in urban areas who are well educated; and (iii) frequent users of ridesharing services are less likely

statistics that divide users of ride sharing services into different categories

    2. They estimate that Uber’s basic ride service (UberX) generated about $2.9 billion in consumer surplus for New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco in 2015(in 2015 dollars). Extended to the country as a whole, the authors estimate that consumer surplus gains would be about $6.8 billion. This consumer surplus value is larger than the current annual revenues of Uber worldwide, anddoes not include the benefits

      evidence with facts and figures.

    3. Uber has attracted dramatically increased the number of new “driver-partners” for the basic ridesharing service, from fewer than 1,000 in January 2013 to almost 40,000 new drivers starting in December 2014 (Hall and Krueger, 2015).5Currently, more than half of American adults have heard of ridesharing apps like Uber and Lyft, with 15% actuallyusingthe services (Smith, 2016). In China, Didi facilitates 7 million rides per day (Floyd, 2016)

    1. Figure 9. Constraint plots

This is another example of a form of online data we support for our authors. In this case the 83 objects analyzed in this paper each had graphical representations of the model fits. All 83 elements can be viewed in the online journal via a filmstrip UI element. Readers can read individual captions for each element, download individual plots, or the entire set.

Wait, but couldn't we say all language is prompted by either the imagination or the passions? What has he clarified here? Or would he not agree that all language is a result of either imagination or passion?

    1. Serious Growth put 30 pounds of muscle on my frame. My strength jumped in all exercises. About 90 pounds was put on my bench, 70 on the military and back.
    2. In just 3 weeks my bench press went from 245 lbs. to 280 lbs.
    3. my maximum bench went from 260 pounds to 325 pounds which is just 15 pounds from when I was 19 and using anabolics. My body weight has gone from 195 to 225
    4. I started out a measly 140 lbs. with 14½ inch arms. Now I’m 175 lbs. With 17½ inch arms and growing. My bench press went from 160 lbs. max to 325 lbs.
    5. I added 50 lbs. to my bench. I used to hate doing pullups, now I’m doing five sets of twelve with a 15 lb. dumbbell hanging from my waist.
    6. I’ve always been a hardgainer, but after 90 days on the Bulgarian System, I’ve added 140 lbs. to my squad and 20 lbs. of weight without it going to my waist.
    7. In the last nine months I’ve added at least 100 pounds to my squat, seventy odd pounds to my bench, and 20 plus pounds to number of other movements
    8. I started off struggling with squats at 135 lbs. Now just 3½ months later, I’m using 300 lbs.
    9. At the beginning I weighed 195 lbs. Now, I’m 217 lbs. and strong. I’ve been accused of using steroids. 12 weeks has added about 20 lbs.
    10. Michael came to me weighing only 99 pounds and bench pressing 85 pounds, and he had a sincere desire to get big and strong. I put him on the Bulgarian system, and in the short time he's been using it he's made the most impressive gains of any young guy I've ever seen. Michael now bench presses 205 pounds (up from 85–that's more than double) and front squats 215 pounds (up from one of the 125). He weighs in at 130 pounds (up from 99) and his body fat has increased by only 1.5%.
    11. After just four months on their program, I pared 15 pounds of fat and replaced it with 20 pounds of rock-hard muscle. My neck size is now 20 inches and my arms are 20 ¾ inches.

    1. Fig. 4. ZIKV reduces the growth rate of human brain organoids.

Objective To examine the effects of infection with Zika virus on neurogenesis at a larger scale, i.e., with organoids

Human iPS-derived brain organoids were exposed with ZIKV and followed for 11 days in vitro

Panels A and B ZIKV infected organoids in (B) show a reduction in their size when compared with MOCK organoids in (A).

Arrows show cells detaching from the brain organoid.

Panels C-E (C) and (D) show a comparison of organoid area before and after the experiment. The average area of MOCK organoids (C) was higher than ZIKV-infected organoids (D)

      (E) shows a comparison of the two conditions after 46 days. The trend is the same.

Conclusion The average growth area of the organoids infected with ZIKV was reduced by 40% when compared to brain organoids in mock conditions.

    2. Fig. 3. ZIKV induces death in human neurospheres.

Objective To highlight the effects of ZIKV on the internal cellular structure.

      Panels A and B (A) is a control, showing the Mock-infected neurosphere

      (B) shows a ZIKV-infected neurosphere with several signs of cell death, including apoptotic nuclei, swollen mitochondria, and viral envelopes (arrow) bound to the smooth membrane structures

      (C) and (D) Arrows point to ZIKV bound to cell surfaces (D) and inside mitochondria (C)

      (E) and (F) Arrows point to viral envelopes close to smooth structures, similar to those previously described in cells infected with dengue virus.

Conclusion These results suggest that ZIKV induces cell death in human neural stem cells and thus impairs the formation of neurospheres.

    3. Fig. 2. ZIKV alters morphology and halts the growth of human neurospheres.

Major Question: What are the effects that ZIKV has on neural differentiation?

Panels A and B: A comparison at 3 days between a neurosphere made up of mock cells (A) and those that were (B). Mock cells show no abnormalities, but cells that were infected produced malformed neurospheres.

Panels C and D At 6 days, the mock neurosphere culture shows hundreds of live cells (C), while the ZIKV-infected plate contains only a few (D).

Panel E: The graph shows the number of neurospheres in the mock reaction as compared to various Zika MOI.

Conclusions: ZIKV infects human neural stem cells.

ZIKV infection resulted in both a decrease in cell viability and in morphological abnormalities

    4. Fig. 1. ZIKV infects human neural stem cells.

Major Question: What are the consequences of ZIKV infection in iPS-derived NSCs ?

      Panels A-D:

Confocal microscopy is an imaging technique used here to generate the images of iPS-derived NSCs double stained for:

      (A) Red stains reveal the presence of ZIKAV, confirming it can infect the cells.

      (B) Stains display the expression of the protein SOX2, which is involved in expression of genes for embryonic development (making it vital for the pluripotency of embryonic stem cells). This shows that the cells are still undifferentiated.

      (C) DAPI staining is a technique of labeling the DNA on A-T rich regions. It can penetrate the membrane of both live & fixed cells, but it stains live cells less efficiently.

      (D) All the 3 pictures are mixed together to show the localization of ZIKV.

Panel E: Both concentrations of the virus (0.25 and 0.025 MOI) were effective (symbolized by the *) at infecting neural stem cells.

Panel F: RT-PCR data shows the increase of virus production at 2 and 3 days.
