But if Cox and Trump represent two rival impulses within the Republican coalition, Trump is undoubtedly winning. “Democrats own what happened today,” Representative Nancy Mace of South Carolina said on Wednesday. “Y’all caused this,” Representative Anna Paulina Luna of Florida told Democrats on the House floor. “It’s time for the Trump administration to shut down, defund, & prosecute every single Leftist organization,” the influential Trump adviser Laura Loomer posted on X. “We must shut these lunatic leftists down. Once and for all. The Left is a national security threat.”Other influential figures on the right have been equally or more strident. “The Left is the party of murder,” Elon Musk declared on X before a suspect had even been identified. Andrew Tate, the misogynist who has been charged with sex trafficking in two countries (which he denies); Alex Jones, the conspiracy-theorist broadcaster; and Libs of TikTok influencer Chaya Raichik all invoked “civil war.”

Summary - Alex advocates - for a nonmaterialist perspective on consciousness and argues - that there is an urgency to educate the public on this perspective - due to the transhumanist agenda that could threaten the future of humanity - He argues that the problem of whether consciousness is best explained by materialism or not is central to resolving the threat posed by the direction AI takes - In this regard, he interprets that the very words that David Chalmers chose to articulate the Hard Problem of Consciousness reveals the assumption of a materialist reference frame. - He used a legal metaphor too illustrate his point: - When a lawyer poses three question "how did you kill that person" - the question is entrapping the accused . It already contains the assumption of guilt. - I would characterize his role as a scientist who practices authentic seeker of wisdom - will learn from a young child if they have something valuable to teach and - will help educate a senior if they have something to learn - The efficacy of timebinding depends on authenticity and is harmed by dogma
I don't see that education is going on in schools. I don't see that knowledge is being produced in universities. I don't see a lot of healing happening in hospitals. And I don't see a lot of food being sold in supermarkets

comment - we need to flip civilization - we do not live in a wellbeing civilization - one future alternative is commons-based, with tools such as the Indyweb, that can allow life-long learners to build up their own private store of information - individual, yet connected through interpersonal trust networks for social learning

you don't need to straw man pansism in that way.

Summary - Interesting adjacency with another video I've been watching, that focused on a Western monk's practice of Tibetan Buddhism, who after 12 years, entered a 4 year retreat and panicked - His demons emerged in the first 2 years of the retreat and he left but returned - This monk emphasized accepting the relationship with his demons instead of averting them and how craving and desire emphasized by Western civilllization is the cause of modernity's meaning crisis - to - Youtube - Diary of a CEO - Your brain is lying to you - Interview - Gerong Tupton - https://hyp.is/go?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DvIbLQQ1i56Y&group=world

The Pearl book and movie have many similarities and differences. The book and movie both have Kino as their main character, but the change the name of Kino’s baby. Kino and Juana have a son named Coyotito in the book. In the movie version, Coyotito is named Coyote. The priest baptizes Coyote with a new name, Juan Coyote. Another difference between the book and movie is the beginning of the novel. In the movie, the viewer meets Kino as a young boy and sees he has nightmares that help explain the origin of the Song of the Family. This does not happen in the book. There are many similarities that occur in the book and movie. The Dr. in the book and novel is still unwilling to help the people of the town. This is true even when Kino’s child, Coyotito gets stung.

They focused on two kinds of students. The “thrivers” were those who did much better in college than their high school grades would have predicted. The “divers” were those who did much worse.
This is an interesting quote because it shows how personality and traits of a person actually affects the potential of their effort into college courses. A student's personality plays an important role in how they do in college or academics because whether they are enthusiastic or depressed will show in their study habits as well as test scores. When it comes to academics, many people will think it may come natural rather than utilizing the cognitive skills, which is believed to be a skill that applies. However, cognition is an important asset - there is more that contributes into this criteria of education. Although, what draws the line to being fully considered as a thriver student or a diver student. Can someone(a student)be considered both?
