Der Vertrag mit Qatar über die Lieferung von jährlich 1,5 Milliarden Kubikmeter (zusätzlich zu den seit 3007 importieren 2,9 Milliarden Kubikmetern) läuft bis 2053. Der Vertrag mit den Kongo geht über 4,5 Milliarden Kubikmeter.     1. An estimated 13.1 million people in Congo are now in need of humanitarian assistance.

While the overall death toll is uncertain, there is reason to believe it may reach into the hundreds; witnesses and activists said that 34 villages had been attacked. Since December, an estimated 150,000 people have fled their homes, according to humanitarian workers in the region.
