It's always a strange thing, going from nothing to something. Starting with just an idea, and gradually turning it into something real. Inventing along the way all these things that start so small, and gradually become these whole structures. I always think anyone who's been involved in such a thing has kind of a glow of confidence that lasts at least a decade—realizing that, yes, with the right effort nothing can turn into something.
