    1. disappointing that the Labor Party actively boycott this event when its intention is to uplift women

Divya Ahlawat was simply stating the facts - Liberal councillors did not vote to ban the event, nor did council - but Labor councillors have ensure a course of action which doesn't reflect the decision made by council.

And that's mainly to cover for the stuff up of a departed member of their dominant Left faction. Although he is attached to the hip with Mayor Laxale who has made unfortunate previous comments on social media.

It's amazing that you would have your male mates on one side partially geeing you up on social media to trick you into another story and then on the other hand, you've come along to the event - after pre-writing most of the story - only to hear the previous year's queen debunk the misinformation assembled by your mates.

And then, this year's winner's comments just didn't fit with the story you wanted to do (see further down).

    1. "Splendid! One of us is to furnish a repast for the hounds. The other will sleep in this very excellent bed. On guard, Rainsford." . . .He had never slept in a better bed, Rainsford decided.

This is an example of the resolution, because we find out the outcome for Rainsford.

    2. Rainsford did not smile. "I am still a beast at bay," he said, in a low, hoarse voice. "Get ready, General Zaroff."The general made one of his deepest bows. "I see," he said. "Splendid! One of us is to furnish a repast for the hounds. The other will sleep in this very excellent bed. On guard, Rainsford." . . .He had never slept in a better bed, Rainsford decided.

This is an example of the resolution since Rainsford came back and has killed General Zaroff.

    1. The expostion is when Rainsford hears the gunshot. The rising action is when Rainsford falls off the boat. The Man vs Man conflict of the story was when Zaroff wanted to hunt Rainsford. The Man vs World conflict was when Rainsford was trying to find shelter and what he would need to do to beat Zaroff. The Man vs Self conflict was when Rainsford was in the middle of the game against Zaroff and Rainsford kept telling himself, "I will not lose my nerve. I will not." The turning point of the story is when Rainsford leaps off into the sea. The resolution of the Dangerous Game was General Zaroff told Rainsfords, "I congratulate you. You have won the game."

Susan, did you read this comment. Kinda captured my own lostness but not quite. I get the feeling that I need to give up some of my...contextity? That's like saying "Hoist anchor" in a storm. And that really is a way of breaking smart if it saves your damned life. Our political life is exactly like this now. The contextity is killing us. Hoist the fucking anchor or be dragged down with it when the storm batters hell out of you. Here I am again trying to put down the meaning anchor. This is hard to do when you have spent your whole life trying to understand and do and drive uncertainty and ambiguity to ground. I think maybe the key for me to is to feel my way with a new set of antennae, nascent and emergent antennae.

    1. “This was a resolution in support of Open Educational Resource textbooks as an option for both professors and students to decrease the financial burden that is placed increasingly on students in textbook costs,” O’Dea said. “This is something that the College and absolutely the Student Assembly should get behind and I think the student body will support this bill.”
