https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOWDBy4fbqs
Also Beamte brauchst du maximal Richter, Staatsanwälte, Polizisten.

Why not a library? We've found it extremely hard to develop a library that: Supports the many database libraries, ORMs, frameworks, runtimes, and deployment options available in the ecosystem. Provides enough flexibility for the majority of use cases. Does not add significant complexity to projects.
The goal of Lucia v3 was to be the easiest and cleanest way to implement database-backed sessions in your projects. It didn't have to be a library. I just assumed that a library will be the answer. But I ultimately came to conclusion that my assumption was wrong. I don't see this change as me abandoning the project. In fact, I think it's a step forward. If implementing sessions wasn't easy, I wouldn't be deprecating the package. But why wouldn't a library be the answer? It seems like a such an obvious answer. One word - database. I talked about how database adapters were a significant complexity tax to the library. I think a lot of people interpreted that as maintenance burden on myself. That's not wrong, but the bigger issue is how the adapters limit the API. Adapters always felt like a black box to me as both an end user and a maintainer. It's very hard to design something clean around it and makes everything clunky and fragile, especially when you need to deal with TypeScript shenanigans.

On many occasions, I've opened up requests for support in the form of a Github pull request. This way, I am telling the author: I have found a potential problem with your library, here is how I fixed it for my circumstance, here is the code I used for reference. You get extra internet points if you open the pull request with: "I don't expect this pull request to get merged, but I wanted to you show you what I did".
Not everyone has time to adhere to the specific coding styles for a project, so if you can't do a full blown pull-request, there is NOTHING wrong with opening a pull-request that only has the intention of showing the author how you solved the problem.
My long term vision for Falcon is to make a web application platform which trivializes server deployment. Ideally, a web application can fully describe all its components: HTTP servers, databases, periodic jobs, background jobs, remote management, etc. Currently, it is not uncommon for all these facets to be handled independently in platform specific ways. This can make it difficult to set up new instances as well as make changes to underlying infrastructure. I hope Falcon can address some of these issues in a platform agnostic way.

comment 10 July 2024 - Deep Humanity is our attempt at this. It is not a religion, however. It is humanity, but in the deepest sense, so it is accessible to anyone in our species. Our tagline has been - Rekindling wonder in an age of crisis - However, this morning an adjacency occurred:
adjacency - between - familiarity - wonder - adjacency relationship - Familiarity hides wonder - Richard Dawkins said: - There is an anaesthetic of familiarity, - a sedative of ordinariness - which dulls the senses and hides the wonder of existence. - For those of us not gifted in poetry, - it is at least worth while from time to time - making an effort to shake off the anaesthetic. - What is the best way of countering the sluggish habitutation brought about by our gradual crawl from babyhood? - We can't actually fly to another planet. - But we can recapture that sense of having just tumbled out to life on a new world - by looking at our own world in unfamiliar ways. - That is, when a type of experience becomes familiar through repeated sensory episodes, - we lose the feeling of wonder we had when we initially experienced it - It's much like visiting a place for the very first time. We are struck with a sense of wonder because everything is unpredictable, in a safe way. We have no idea what's around the next corner. It's a surprise. - However, once we live there, and have traced that route hundreds of times, we have transformed that first magical experience into mundane experience. - So it is with everything that makes us human, with all the foundational things about reality that we learned from the moment we were born. - They have all become jaded. We've forgotten the awe of those first experiences in this reality: - our first experience of our basic senses - our first breath of air, instead of amniotic fluid - our first integration of multiple sensory experiences into a cohesive whole - the birth of objectification - the very first application of objectification to form the object we called mOTHER - the Most significant OTHER - our first encounter with the integration of multiple sensory stimuli associated with each object we construct - our first encounter with auditory human, speech symbols - our first experience with object continuity - how objects still exist even if they disappear from view momentarily - do we remember freaking out when mOTHER disappeared from view momentarily? - our first ability to communicate with mOTHER through speech symbols - our first encounter with ability to control our bodies through our own volition - our first encounter with gravity, the pull towards the ground - our first encounter with a large bright sphere suspended in the sky - our first encounter with perspective, how objects change size in our field of view as they get nearer or farer - etc... - What's missing now, is that we have repeated all these experiences so many times, that the feeling of awe no longer emerges with life - To generate awe, the repertoire of existing experiences is insufficient - now we have to create NEW experiences, we have to create novelty - Mortality Salience can help jolt us out of this fixation on novelty, and remind us of the sacred that is already here all the time - For, what happens at the time of death? All the constructions we have taken for granted in life disappear all at once, or perhaps some before others - Hence, we begin to re-experience them as relative, as constructions, and not absolutes - All living organisms have their own unique umwelt - These umwelts are all expressions of the sacred, sensing itself in different ways

Whenever I say man/son, I intend this irrespective of gender, which is such a rudimentary concept for spiritual beings that we are temporarily incarnated, housed in these bodies of ours for a lifetime.
Not sure if I should use trailmarks and listicle here or not? I will choose to use it.
gendered syntax - I understand, but I also pointed out that the evolutionary nature of a language's syntax gives it unique gender characteristics. - I gave the example of my own mother tongue of Cantonese which is syntactically more gender neutral instead of English, which is patriarchal: - Cantonese (play the audio at the following links) - person - https://www.cantoneseclass101.com/cantonese-dictionary/ - man - https://www.cantoneseclass101.com/cantonese-dictionary/ - woman - https://www.cantoneseclass101.com/cantonese-dictionary/ - In the Cantonese language, the suffix (Yan) means person, - It is then modified by the respective female and male prefix - Noi (female) - Nam (male) - This gives us gender neutral syntax, as opposed to English where we have patriarchal gender syntax, where the suffix is male and the female is constructed as a secondary concatenation using the male syntactical suffix - male - FEmale - man - WOman - HUman - HUmanITY - men - WOmen - The English language gives syntactical primacy to the male gender, while a language such as Cantonese does not - What the psychological effects are, I'm not sure of. For within the Cantonese language, there is as much patriarchism as any other culture. It is not a particularly feminine culture. - And the gender neutrality does not even take into account of the more recent transgender category.
to - Cantonese syntax - person - man - woman - https://hyp.is/3wgg0BQOEe-uRQ-kpQf8Eg/www.cantoneseclass101.com/cantonese-dictionary/ - With English, we have to read between the lines and project the author's salience landscape because it's not explicit in the syntax.

https://www.kevinmarks.com/memex.html
I got stuck over the weekend, so I totally missed Kevin Marks' memex demo at IndieWebCamp's Create Day, but it is an interesting little UI experiment.
I'll always maintain that Vannevar Bush really harmed the first few generations of web development by not mentioning the word commonplace book in his conceptualization. Marks heals some of this wound by explicitly tying the idea of memex to that of the zettelkasten however. John Borthwick even mentions the idea of "networked commonplace books". [I suspect a little birdie may have nudged this perspective as catnip to grab my attention—a ruse which is highly effective.]
Some of Kevin's conceptualization reminds me a bit of Jerry Michalski's use of The Brain which provides a specific visual branching of ideas based on the links and their positions on the page: the main idea in the center, parent ideas above it, sibling ideas to the right/left and child ideas below it. I don't think it's got the idea of incoming or outgoing links, but having a visual location on the page for incoming links (my own site has incoming ones at the bottom as comments or responses) can be valuable.
I'm also reminded a bit of Kartik Prabhu's experiments with marginalia and webmention on his website which plays around with these ideas as well as their visual placement on the page in different methods.
MIT MediaLab's Fold site (details) was also an interesting sort of UI experiment in this space.
It also seems a bit reminiscent of Kevin Mark's experiments with hovercards in the past as well, which might be an interesting way to do the outgoing links part.
Next up, I'd love to see larger branching visualizations of these sorts of things across multiple sites... Who will show us those "associative trails"?
Another potential framing for what we're all really doing is building digital versions of Indigenous Australian's songlines across the web. Perhaps this may help realize Margo Neale and Lynne Kelly's dream for a "third archive"?
I'm thinking it might be worth a separate issue. I'm not sure though, so for now mentioning it here.
Here, we’ll talk about how much time you need to invest for the successful development of an app. This blog addresses three questions: “How long does it take to construct an app?”, “how to create an app from scratch?” and “how to speed up the process?”. This post is for you if you want to try your hand at app development for your business.
Learning about the difficulties to create a mobile app is critical for developers to understand what works and what doesn't. This blog will assist you in understanding deeply about them along with learning about the ways to resolve the same.
There are a couple of reasons why you may want to do this.
Why does this even exist ? So you can seperate the data and structure migrations in different folders

Giving peers permission to engage in dialogue about race and holding a lofty expectation that they will stay engaged in these conversations throughout the semester or year is the first of the four agreements for courageous conversation. While initially, some participants may be eager to enter into these conversations, our experience indicates that the more personal and thus risky these topics get, the more difficult it is for participants to stay committed and engaged." None of the existing repository filtering tools did what I wanted; they all came up short for my needs. No tool provided any of the first eight traits below I wanted, and all failed to provide at least one of the last four traits as well:
John Company offers players a new understanding of British history in the eighteenth and nineteenth century that reflects contemporary scholarship on the subject and extensive research into primary documents. John Company attempts to put the critical events of that time in their proper context and show how the imperial experience transformed the domestic culture of Britain. The East India Company lurked behind every building of a textile mill and every bit of wealth in a Jane Austen novel. John Company is an uncompromising portrait of the people who made the Company and the British Empire what it was. It is as frank as it is cutting in its satire. Accordingly, the game wrestles with many of the key themes of imperialism and globalization in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and how those developments were felt domestically. As such, this game might not be suitable for all players. Please make sure everyone in your group consents to this exploration before playing.

I'm not familiar with this term "arguments" used like this. Isn't this more referring to the motivation for this game?
But in all this incongruous abundance you'll certanly find the links to expect It's just what is wanted: the tool, which is traditionally used to communicate automatically with interactive programs. And as it always occurs, there is unfortunately a little fault in it: expect needs the programming language TCL to be present. Nevertheless if it doesn't discourage you to install and learn one more, though very powerful language, then you can stop your search, because expect and TCL with or without TK have everything and even more for you to write scripts.
Machinist was written because I loved the idea behind Factory Girl, but I thought the philosophy wasn't quite right, and I hated the syntax.
Reopening #162
https://github.com/rails/sprockets/issues/162 was already closed as duplicated (so this just creates another duplicate).
Technically this could be added there.
Oh, I see, it was from so long ago (2015), that it would probably be frowned upon to reopen such an old issue.
ActiveModel::Form happened because the "tableless model" presented in RailsCast 219 wasn't as powerful as the "real deal" from RailsCast 193.
The assert method is used by all the other assertions. It pushes the second parameter to the list of errors if the first parameter evaluates to false or nil.
Seems like these helper functions could be just as easily used in ActiveRecord models. Therefore, they should be in a separate gem, or at least module, that can be used in both these objects and ActiveRecord objects.
Read about the motivation to understand why this separation of concerns is important.

The use of __proto__ is controversial and discouraged. It was never originally included in the ECMAScript language spec, but modern browsers implemented it anyway. Only recently was the __proto__ property standardized by the ECMAScript 2015 specification for compatibility with web browsers, so it will be supported into the future.

Why struggle with custom Syntax DSLs when you can use one so widely supported?
One of the arguments that's frequently deployed in favour of JSX-based frameworks over template-based ones is that JSX allows you to use existing language constructs:
Proposes a syntax similar to JSX.
My question would instead be, why not just use JSX for Svelte templates?
It would also reduce friction for new users, who would no longer have to learn a new syntax for each new framework.
React Static is also a great replacement for the ever popular Create React App CLI. It provides a similar developer experience, zero-config environment, and features, but without boxing you in. If you ever need to customize your build system in React Static, there is no need to eject!

Second, there are some fantastic projects out there like Create React App, preact-cli, nwb, and much more that avoid the boilerplate problem but at the expense of some other tradeoffs. Your configuration could be black-boxed and not able to be modified. They could force you to eject your configuration, making maintenance of the entire build dependency tree and configuration your responsibility again, and also preclude future configuration updates.
Not maintained actively enough. Check out https://github.com/insin/nwb#react-components-and-libraries or https://neutrinojs.org/packages/react-components/

This is the plan and process of all true thinking, and therefore of all Creation.Listen! You have now and always have had, through this power of thinking, dominion over allthe kingdoms of the Earth. If you but know it. You have now, this moment, only to Think andSPEAK THE WORD, -- realizing your power, and that I, God, your Omniscient, Omnipresent,Omnipotent Self, will bring about the results, -- and the waiting consciousness of the invisiblecells of all matter upon which your will and attention become focused, -- which waitingconsciousness is My consciousness, remember, -- will begin immediately to obey and do exactlyaccording to the image or plans you have prepared by you thinking. For all things are made by the Word, and without the Word was not anything made that wasmade.
To allow the inspiration to be expressed brings it into manifestation.........
19So much for the relation. Now for the process of realization. In accordance with the definiteness with which the picture of the Idea is held in the mind, and theextent to which the Idea possesses the personality, does its creative Power, impelled by Desire, proceed with Its work. This It does by compelling the mortal mind to think out or to imagine(image in), or, in other words, to build mental forms into which I can pour, as into a vacuum, theImpersonal, elemental, vital substance of the Idea. When the Word is spoken, either silently oraudibly, consciously or unconsciously, this substance at once begins to materialize Itself, by firstdirecting and controlling the consciousness and all the activities of both mind and body, and ofall minds and all bodies connected with or related to the Idea, -- for remember, all consciousness, and all minds and all bodies are Mine, and are not separated but are One and wholly Impersonal,-- and then so attracting, directing, shaping and molding conditions, things and events that, sooner or later, the Idea actually comes forth into definite, tangible manifestation. So it is that every thing, every condition, every event that ever transpired, was first an Idea in themind. It was by desiring, by thinking, and by speaking forth the Word, that these ideas came intovisible manifestation.
So first comes the inspiration/Idea, let it be fully received, held in the mind, than Desired ..............the extent to which it is received, held and desired determines it creative Power...
If I allow my human mind to be a vacuum which the the very substance of God, of the inspiration can fill... then "When the Word is spoken, either silently or audibly, consciously or unconsciously, this substance at once begins to materialize Itself, by first directing and controlling the consciousness and all the activities of both mind and body, and of all minds and all bodies connected with or related to the Idea".......
For all minds are joined and "wholly Impersonal".
"by desiring, by thinking, and by speaking forth the Word, that these ideas came into visible manifestation."
Once I have given your human mind a view of Its possibilities, and have enlisted your interest, then does your human personality take up its task; for as I created and inspired the Idea in yourmind, so did I cause that Idea to fructify therein and give birth to Desire, -- desire to bring intoouter manifestation all the possibilities of the Idea, Desire thus becoming the mortal agent of MyWill and supplying the motive Power; just as the human personality is the mortal instrumentused to confine and focus that Power
Once I have allowed my mind to focus and receive the Idea/inspiration fully then to allow myself to desire it coming into manifestation............. to desire all possibilities of the Idea/inspiration. When I do this I become "the mortal agent of My Will and supplying the motive Power; just as the human personality is the mortal instrument used to confine and focus that Power."
Divine purpose, to be a mortal agent of Gods Will..
There is always first the Idea, not considering at this moment the necessity or occasion for Itsappearance. It matters not whence the Idea comes, from within or without; for it is always I whoinspire It or cause It to impress your consciousness at the particular moment it does. Then, just to the extent that you grow quiet and focus your attention upon that Idea, stilling allthe activities of your mind and eliminating all other ideas and thoughts from your consciousness,so that Idea can have full sway, do I illumine your mind and cause to unfold before your mentalgaze the various phases and possibilities contained within that Idea. This takes place, however, up to this point, without any volition on your part, other than focusingor concentrating your attention upon the Idea.
Inspiration arises............ it is always from Source no matter how it arrives.
I need to grow quiet and focus on the inspiration, the Idea and let go all arising through about it..... only then can I receive more deeply and my mind be illuminated......... all I need do is focus my attention on the inspiration/Idea.......... there is nothing for the little me, the personal self to figure out.....
For who is the master? -- Your body, your mind, or You, the I AM within? Then why not show You are master, by thinking the true things the I AM of you within wishesyou to think? It is only by your thinking these other things, by allowing these inharmonious thoughts to enteryour mind and by so doing giving them the power so to affect or disturb you, that they have anysuch influence over you. When you stop thinking into them this power, and turn within to Meand allow Me to direct your thinking, they will at once disappear from your consciousness, anddissolve into the nothingness from which you created them by your thinking. When you are willing to do this, then and then only are you ready to receive Truth, and, byproper conscious thinking, directed by Me, to create the true and permanent things I within wishyou to create. Then, when you can thus distinguish the true from the false, the real from the seeming, yourconscious thinking will be as potent to create all things you desire, as has been yourunconsciousness thinking in the past in creating those things you once desired but now findobnoxious
My True Self is the real master of the mind..........
"It is only by your thinking these other things, by allowing these inharmonious thoughts to enter your mind and by so doing giving them the power so to affect or disturb you, that they have any such influence over you." So succinct and clear.
"When you stop thinking into them this power, and turn within to Me and allow Me to direct your thinking, they will at once disappear from your consciousness, and dissolve into the nothingness from which you created them by your thinking." Again simple clear instruction.
When I am ready to do this, when I am ready to turn within to the True Self then I am ready to receive Truth and by Conscious thinking directed by the True Self, "create the true and permanent things I within wish you to create."
For it was by your unconscious thinking, or thinking unconscious of the control your desiresexercised over your creative power, that your world and your life are now what you sometime inthe past desired them to be.
Very clear, cause and effect.
They are -- to you, for all things are to man's mortal consciousness what he thinks or believesthey are.I have likewise caused them to appear to man to be what he thinks they are. This also is to suitMy purpose, and to fulfill the law of creating.Let us see if this is not true.If you believe a thing is so, is not that thing really so -- to you?Is it not true that a thing seems real to you, like some sin or evil, so-called, some sorrow, troubleor worry, only because your thinking or believing it so makes it such? Others might see thatthing entirely differently and might think your view of it foolish. Might they not?If this is true, then your body, your personality, your character, your environment, your world, are what they appear to be to you, because you have thought them into their present statu
It is being pointed out that if I think something and believe it, it seems true, yet to others who think differently they will not appear the same way..... and this is also a part of Divine purpose, to fulfil the law of creating...........
I first give you the Key that will unlock every mystery that now hides from you the secret of MyBeing. This Key, when you once know how to use it, will open the door to all Wisdom and all Power inheaven and Earth. Yea, it will open the door to the Kingdom of Heaven, and then you have but toenter in to become consciously One with Me.This Key is"To THINK is to CREATE", or"As you THINK in your HEART, so is it with you."Stop and meditate on this that it may get firmly fixed in your mind.A Thinker is a Creator.A Thinker lives in a world of his own conscious creation. When you once know how "to think," you can create at will anything you wish, -- whether it be anew personality, a new environment, or a new world.
"This Key is"To THINK is to CREATE", or"As you THINK in your HEART, so is it with you".
The word that really stands out here is 'heart'. It doesn't say as I think in my mind. And it continues to on with "When you once know how "to think," you can create at will anything you wish." This suggests there is something for me to learn about 'thinking' in the context that is is used here.
But something began to compel me. How might I discover how to see only that Shimmering Radiance? Would it be possible for me to see my brothers and sisters as my Father sees His Children? And, in Truth, I discovered that the way to see with the Eyes of Christ begins with the acceptance that I, as a creator, created in the image of God, indeed, literally choose every experience, and call it to me; that I create the veils through which I view Creation.
