    1. Furthermore, we prove that a maximally coherent network with constant interaction strengths will always be linearly stable. We also propose a simple model that, by correctly capturing the trophic coherence of food webs, accurately reproduces their stability and other basic structural features. Most remarkably, our model shows that stability can increase with size and complexity. This suggests a key to May’s paradox, and a range of opportunities and concerns for biodiversity conservation.

Dois-je me relier à la classe uniquement selon mon emploi du temps ?Les professeurs restent responsables de la conception de leur enseignement et prennent appui sur les personnels de direction chargés de la mise en cohérence des initiatives de chaque professeur. En outre, le lien avec la classe peut être maintenu sous des formes différentes (envoi de devoirs par messagerie, classes virtuelles, lecture de documents, recherches...). Une attention particulière devra être portée aux élèves qui ne disposent pas d’équipement adapté au format numérique. Des documents sous format papier seront alors mis à disposition de ces élèves.

      Il arrive que des enseignants demandent aux élèves de se connecter lors du même créneau horaire.

      Since forever, apparently, science has relied on Aristotle's "Unmoved Mover," in a sense. Not a god exactly, but some real or imagined unaffected observer whose presence serves as a fixed point from which to accumulate data. Why are we tempted to think this way? Aren't we all moving? What fixed point is there? I'm tempted to go back to the analogy of floating baskets tied together. There is an illusion of being grounded, but we aren't really.

      This line is poking fun at the character, implying a narcissistic concern with his own intelligence, but in my life I've found that saying something that seems to resonate with meaning and that one has not before experienced is a rare, beautiful feeling.
