    1. I got admitted into the Stanford MS Computer Science program which is easier to get into than a PhD program (at Stanford or other top schools). Those schools which don't have a terminal/professional MS degree program in Computer Science (MIT, UC Berkeley, U of Washington, etc.) had rejected me that year because I ended up applying for a PhD. For MS CS, I got admits from Stanford, CMU, Cornell, and Georgia Tech.
