LogRocket is a frontend application monitoring solution that lets you replay problems as if they happened in your own browser. Instead of guessing why errors happen, or asking users for screenshots and log dumps, LogRocket lets you replay the session to quickly understand what went wrong. It works perfectly with any app, regardless of framework, and has plugins to log additional context from Redux, Vuex, and @ngrx/store. In addition to logging Redux actions and state, LogRocket records console logs, JavaScript errors, stacktraces, network requests/responses with headers + bodies, browser metadata, and custom logs. It also instruments the DOM to record the HTML and CSS on the page, recreating pixel-perfect videos of even the most complex single-page apps.

I am using a system for myself to plan and do my work, maintain lots of things in parallel, and keep notes. That system consists of several interlocking methods, and those methods are supported by various tools. What I describe in my review of 100 days of using Obsidian, is not about Obsidian’s functionality per se, but more about how the functionality and affordances of Obsidian fit with my system and the methods in that system
Important point to make. I think of this as "Principles before tools", which means that I start with what I want to achieve, and then find tools that help me do that more effectively.

Scenario
Inshot Storytelling app, Video Editor & Video Maker InShot has a lot of photo and video editing features in one. There is a small learning curve. Many girls on the field have creatively combined photo and video content, applied effects and enhancements to specific sections and added transitions too. Harnessing the capabilities of InShot for storytelling has immense possibilities. It could potentially lead to a creators movement where people share details about their lives through videos and narration. It also could be used for product stories and marketing. InShot app runs on a phone and ASPi is used as a repository and exchange node - during COVID lockdown, a server online is also used so physical movement is reduced.
Syncthing. A continuous file synchronization program Ever thought of connotations of sharing in today’s world. Well, Syncthing allows us to securely backup data without the need to trust a third-party cloud provider. Sharing and syncing files between devices on a local network or over the internet is made easier through Syncthing. This could help in fostering community archives as access to files over multiple devices can be made effortless. In localised sense, people can also look up resources or their queries and find answers with their peers.

Scenario 1
Kolibri The offline app for universal education Kolibri makes high quality education technology available in low-resource communities such as rural schools, refugee camps, orphanages, non-formal school systems, and prison systems. While the internet has thoroughly transformed the availability of educational content for much of the world, many people still live in places where online access is poor or even nonexistent. Kolibri is a great solution for these communities. It's an app that creates an offline server to deliver high-quality educational resources to learners. What makes Kolibri unique is that it offers a way to bring different content sources offline into a central repository in a structured way. Beyond that, it brings in a host of tools to help align the content with national and local curricular standards, and on the student side it offers a self-paced personalized learning experience with support tools for teachers to track student progress. Kolibri can be envisioned also for local teaching, DIY courses, self initiated inquiries, equal opportunities for 21st century skills etc.

Is there any service that does this sort of alert when my library gets a book I want?
Not quite the functionality you're looking for, but in the same sort of vein as WorldCat:
Library Extension is a browser extension that works on Amazon, Goodreads (and possibly other book sites) that allows you to register your favorite local libraries, and when you look up books on those services, it automatically searches and shows you which are available at your local library. One click and you can usually download or reserve a copy quickly for pick up.

That'll generate talking points to write from.If you're passionate about an idea but you lack the interesting insights, you need to consume before you produce: Read blogs and books on your topic, highlight interesting parts, and bank good ideas to pull from when writing your first draft.

I have two shortcuts for finding topics you're passionate about:The problems that bug you — To identify your strong opinions, consume other people's opinions (via Twitter, editorials, and conversations) and note when you strongly disagree with them. Then sit yourself down, crack open a laptop, and argue your position while you feel the drive. The fun stories you tell — Readers love being privy to vulnerable stories from your life. Procedia Social and Behavioral Sciences 1 (2009) 478–482Available online at www.sciencedirect.comWorld Conference on Educational Sciences 2009 To use or not to use web 2.0 in higher education? Gabriela Grosseck* West University of Timisoara, 4 Bd. C. Coposu, office 029, 300223 Timisoara, Romania Received October 8, 2008; revised December 16, 2008; accepted January 4, 2009 Abstract Web 2.0 has been, during the last years, one of the most fashionable words for a whole range of evolutions regarding the Internet. Although it was identified by the current analysts as the key technology for the next decade, the actors from the educational field do not really know what Web 2.0 means. Since the author started to explore and use Web 2.0 technologies in her own development/improvement, she has been intrigued by their potential and, especially, by the possibility of integrating them in education and in particular in the teaching activity. The purpose of this paper is both to promote scholarly inquiry about the need of a new type a pedagogy (Web 2.0 based) and the development / adoption of best practice in teaching and learning with web 2.0 in higher education (HE). The article main objectives are: • to introduce theoretical aspects of using Web 2.0 technologies in higher education • to present models of integrating Web 2.0 technologies in teaching, learning and assessment • to identify the potential benefits of these technologies as well as to highlight some of the problematic issues / barriers encountered, surrounding the pedagogical use of Web 2.0 in higher education • to propose an agenda for future research, and to develop pedagogy 2.0 scenarios for HE sector. © 2009 Elsevier Ltd. But thirdly, and most valuably, the template gives you a big space at the bottom to write sentences that summarise the page. That is, you start writing your critical response on the notes themselves.
I do much this same thing, however, I'm typically doing it using Hypothes.is to annotate and highlight. These pieces go back to my own website where I can keep, categorize, and even later search them. If I like, I'll often do these sorts of summaries on related posts themselves (usually before I post them publicly if that's something I'm planning on doing for a particular piece.)

Blogs tend towards conversational and quotative reuse, which is great for some subject areas, but not so great for others. Wiki feeds forward into a consensus process that provides a high level of remix and reuse, but at the expense of personal control and the preservation of divergent goals.
And here it is, the key to the universe!
We need something that is a meld between the wiki and the blog. Something that will let learners aggregate, ponder, and then synthesize into their own voice. A place where they can create their own goals and directions.

Our experience is that many of today’s technology leaders genuinely venerate Engelbart, Kay, and their colleagues. Many even feel that computers have huge potential as tools for improving human thinking. But they don’t see how to build good businesses around developing new tools for thought. And without such business opportunities, work languishes.
Some of these ideas in this section tangentially touch on the broader problems of EdTech. Technology isn't necessarily the answer.
They're onto something, but I feel like they're missing a huge grounding in areas of pedagogy, teaching, EdTech history, and even memory and memory research.
-
What if the best tools for thought have already been discovered? In other words, perhaps the 1960s and 1970s were an unrepeatable golden age, and all we can expect in the future is gradual incremental improvement, and perhaps the occasional major breakthrough, at a decreasing frequency?
Many have been, but they've been forgotten and need to be rediscovered and repopularized as well as refined.
Once this has happened, perhaps others may follow. Ideas like PAO are incredibly valuable ones that hadn't previously existed, but were specially built for remembering specific types of information. How can we combinatorially use some of these other methods to create new and interesting ones for other types of tools?
-
Put another way, many tools for thought are public goods. They often cost a lot to develop initially, but it’s easy for others to duplicate and improve on them, free riding on the initial investment. While such duplication and improvement is good for our society as a whole, it’s bad for the companies that make that initial investment. And so such tools for thought suffer the fate of many public goods: our society collectively underinvests in them, relative to the benefits they provide

Michael Caulfield, an educator who has written extensively about misinformation, media literacy, and the importance of online “info-environmentalism,”19Michael Caulfield, “Info-Environmentalism: An Introduction,” EDUCAUSEreview (Nov./Dec., 2017): 92-93, https://er.educause.edu/articles/2017/10/info-environmentalism-an-introduction. distilled concern with online annotation to a pressing social question:It’s your [web] browser, and you’re allowed to annotate anything you want with it. But the separate question is what should be encouraged by the design of our technology. People want to turn this into a legal debate, but it’s not. It’s a tools debate, and the main product of a builder of social tools is not the tool itself but the culture that it creates. So what sort of society do you want to create?

The Task Annotation Project in Science (TAPS) provides K-12 educators with annotated assessment tasks, aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards, that help guide teachers in more equitably monitoring their students’ learning.37 Osmosis is a repository of open educational resources (OER) created to crowdsource the future of medical education.38 Undergraduate and graduate medical students have access to thousands of digital resources, and they have also used annotation - through comments, feedback forms, and ratings - to improve the quality of these learning materials.39 The National Science Digital Library (NSDL), created in 2000, is an archive of open access teaching and learning resources for learners of all ages across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines.40 Annotation has been used to tag the NSDL’s resources and improve information accessibility, support student interaction with multimedia content through a digital notebook, and educators have annotated NSDL resources to design online learning activities for their students.41 And research about the digital annotation tool Perusall.d-undefined, .lh-undefined { background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2) !important; }.d-undefined, .lh-undefined { background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5) !important; }3Troy Hicks, Nate Angell, Jeremy Dean, often used in conjunction with science textbooks, has shown that college students’ pre-reading and annotation practices can subsequently improve exam performance.

One need arose quite commonly as trains of thought would develop on a growing series of note cards. There was no convenient way to link these cards together so that the train of thought could later be recalled by extracting the ordered series of notecards. An associative-trail scheme similar to that out lined by Bush for his Memex could conceivably be implemented with these cards to meet this need and add a valuable new symbol-structuring process to the system.
This reminds me of of how the Roam Research app has implemented bidirectional links and block references.

We refer to a way of life in an integrated domain where hunches, cut-and-try, intangibles, and the human "feel for a situation" usefully co-exist with powerful concepts, streamlined terminology and notation, sophisticated methods, and high-powered electronic aids.
This sounds a lot like Rheingold's tools for thought.

News can no longer be (only) about the mass update. Stories need to be targeted to those who might be able to improve the situation. And journalism’s products — which are more than its stories — must be designed to facilitate this. News needs to be built to engage curiosity about the world and the problems in it — and their solutions. People need to get lost in the news like they now get lost in Wikipedia and Facebook. There must be comprehensive stories that get the interested but uninformed up to speed quickly. Search and navigation must be improved to the point where satisfaction of curiosity is so easy it becomes a reflex. Destination news sites need to be more extensively hyperlinked than almost anything else (and not just insincere internal links for SEO, but links that are actually useful for the user.) The news experience needs to become intensely personal. It must be easy for users to find and follow exactly their interests, no matter how arcane. Journalists need to get proficient at finding and engaging the audience for each story. And all of this has to work across all modes of delivery, so it’s always with us. Marketers understand this; it’s amazing to me that the news industry has been so slow to catch on to multi-modal engagement.
everything would work perfectly if we had all of these and people are actually rational and diligent with infinite resource.

This integration of digital tools and automated technologies into building practices has become ever-more urgent in light of the agility that will be required to cope with the effects of climate change, including the increased mobility of people and reduction in material and human resources. Architecture that could accommodate more people in the event of mass migration, or construction practices that could efficiently utilise local resources instead of relying on global supply chains, are possible results of digitising the production of the built environment.
As long as the tools are made freely available to the public, lest the control shift to those who own/control such tools (proprietary software in the hands of large digital coroporations).

Note that we are not making the common argument that making new tools can lead to new subject matter insights for the toolmaker, and vice versa. This is correct, but is much weaker than what we are saying. Rather: making new tools can lead to new subject matter insights for humanity as a whole (i.e., significant original research insights), and vice versa, and this would ideally be a rapidly-turning loop to develop the most transformative tools.
-
With that said, the term “tools for thought” has been widely used since Iverson’s 1950s and 1960s work An account may be found in Iverson’s Turing Award lecture, Notation as a Tool of Thought (1979). Incidentally, even Iverson is really describing a medium for thought, the APL programming language, not a narrow tool. introducing the term. And so we shall use “tools for thought” as our catch all phrase, while giving ourselves license to explore a broader range, and also occasionally preferring the term “medium” when it is apt.

GO TO TASK 1: Defining how Open Science affects you
There are some good ideas for activities here starting at Putting this into practice. For the open badge MOOC, we should more clearly structure the alternatives.
Also, I recommend skipping the R-Markdown and impostor syndrome introductions. For a principles course, we want the focus on ideas, not tools. There are many more open tools available now than when the MOOC was first created. Let people use the tools of their own choice and focus on having them engage with the ideas behind the principles.

What I think we're lacking is proper tooling, or at least the knowledge of it. I don't know what most people use to write Git commits, but concepts like interactive staging, rebasing, squashing, and fixup commits are very daunting with Git on the CLI, unless you know really well what you're doing. We should do a better job at learning people how to use tools like Git Tower (to give just one example) to rewrite Git history, and to produce nice Git commits.

Did you expect the temp directory to get printed? In the last example, we saw the directories ./temp and ./C/temp got printed, but not now. This is the effect of the -print option. By default, the find command prints all the files matching the criteria. However, once the -print option is specified, it will print files only on explicit print instructions. In this find command, -print is associated in the other side of the OR condition, and hence nothing will get printed from the 1st part of the condition.

- Highly specific terms are placed in the bottom ## Software for concept mapping:

Trauma-Informed Screening and Assessment Tools
Difference between trauma screening and trauma assessment tools: Screening tools are brief, used universally, and designed to detect exposure to traumatic events and symptoms. They help determine whether the child needs a professional, clinical, trauma-focused assessment. Functional assessments are more comprehensive and capture a range of specific information about the child’s symptoms, functioning, and support systems. A trauma assessment can determine strengths as well as clinical symptoms of traumatic stress. It assesses the severity of symptoms, and can determine the impact of trauma (how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors have been changed by trauma) on the child’s functioning in the various well-being domains.

Most of these near clones have and will fail. The reason that matching the basic proof of work hurdle of an Status as a Service incumbent fails is that it generally duplicates the status game that already exists. By definition, if the proof of work is the same, you're not really creating a new status ladder game, and so there isn't a real compelling reason to switch when the new network really has no one in it.
This presumes that status is the only reason why people would join such a network. It also underlines the fact that the platform needs to be easy and simple to use, otherwise no one enters it and uses it as the tool first before the network exists.

Furthermore, teachers have often been provided with inadequate training for this task. Many approaches to teachers’ professional development offer a one-size-fits-all approach to technology integration when, in fact, teachers operate in diverse contexts of teaching and learning
Technology is always changing, how will we keep up with the changes and how will we incorporate tools that we are unsure about? It is understandable that in college, we learn about the current technology of that time, but it is our responsibility to understand that technology will always change and that we should try to keep up-to-date on what tools we can use to teach our lessons.

I mean it's just a pain to go in and I'm used to it now, but to go in on, you know, the different exchanges and each one has, has to be input different whether it's be typed in manually, whether you have to switch back and forth to look at the order book and Gemini or where you can copy and paste from below in Bittrex
-
The only one little personal issue and this could just be me not anyone else's did the damn alarm system on trading view, just not a fan of. But everything else is great.
-
ike I said, using the trading view chart is the best thing that you guys could have done. It's not, you know, like I said, don't, don't reinvent the wheel. It's already perfectly round. This one works great.
-
e website. One thing I do love that you guys have the trading view doesn't have or doesn't have a good layout for in the charting, well it's still, it's still coming soon, but the order book and the trade history are really important to me.
-
Um, so, but the other way is, you know, when, when they do make these transactions, they're all recorded on the exchanges that you, I moved those, that data to a spreadsheet and that's where I do the tax tracking.
-
Basically, I will definitely take a look at the total market cast, um, and the alt coin market cap. So I go to queen signals.trade, which is a neat little tool. And uh, they basically pull data from coin market cap. So I think it's the only site I know of where you can look at the total market cap.
-
well, I was thinking like you're talking about sentiment. Is there some type of sentiment tracker? I mean, I don't know. I'm sure that's super difficult technically to do, but that would intrigue people.
-
but I do you script on trading view. So treating you is great. Not only for the charts, but they also have an idea section and a script section.
-
I'm trading these who has these like how to videos, video tutorials and they really go in to the nitty gritty. I think they also have like a Wiki fac or like a wiki tutorial that is just like a whole encyclopedia of trading view and have every indicator you want, you click it and it expands and you can read about everything
-
Yeah, I mean, it really, it when I use the most trading view is 100% open all the time. So important
b/c of charts
-
books. You know, I don't know if it's the Mac interface thing, but it's very buggy.
coinagy is buggy compared to trading view
-
I just chose it and I paid and it was only like, I want to say like 30 bucks a month maybe. I Dunno. And that was also during the bull run when I had a lot more crypto money and I was just like, whatever. I'll buy it invested in my, uh, in my education and tools.
-
ut as far as like trading, you can't plug into, you know, APIs to be going trades a cryptocurrency exchanges
-
say try to focus on something that's really gonna drive you away from the competition, that people need. Because like I pay for multiple tools.
-
gether or going back into, three commas and seeing what hit. Cause they track all that information and will tell you when it's sold, how much money you made, the bitcoin value and in USD and you'll be able to kind of see what levels of hit.

Mostly with the shitty little Exce

I just don't like buying on there. So if I don't have to go into the application, i prefer not to. [inaudible] to Coinbase pro is also, it's poorly set up in my opinion. I don't know why i use it, but usually I'm just going in there to withdraw money.

Coinagy I actually still usually prefer to use to buy on Bittrex because I'm usually signed into Coinagy for the simpllicity. And if I have money in multiple areas, I can do it all from one platform. And because I just, I hate Bittrex. They redid their entire platform. I think they dropped the ball
-
Purchasing. And then once I've bought into an asset, I will establish all my sale targets and stops in three commas.
-
Um, and from a charting perspective it's better than coinagy because it allows you to put alerts on more things than just price action.
-
Tradingview, I pay for because I want to have alerts on specific coins and you don't have the functionality and the free version.
-
A lot of the tools I've been using the free versions because I haven't gotten to the point where, uh, I'm knowledgeable on how to maximize its value and therefore I don't pay for it because my knowledge is lacking.
-
um, so crypto compare as it is a good place to find the volumes
-
Whereas three commas is more structured that if you wanted to exit a position it would do so, but it be a market order and the would obviously bring with it a larger fees.
-
Um, three commas does that as well because it allows you to put in your targets, which is great cause it, you know, it auto sells it for you and then you can go back and look at it.
-
Oh, go into my own trading journal, document it to make sure I have a system of record to hold myself accountable and for being able to look in the future to see over time how I perform on a weekly and monthly basis.
-
But then when I kept getting, you know, uh, burned on my stops not hitting because they just moved too fast and the limits didnt fill or the orders on the flip side didn't sell.
-
That's the one benefit of coinagy. You know, where I can actually plug in all the APIs for all the exchanges I work with and then basically operate from, from one application.
-
An example would be three commas, my main use case for it has been the market orders
-
But I'm also not looking at necessarily reinvent the wheel, but the tools are offering specific applications, do a really good job at what they do.
-
trading view, coinagy, cryptoalerts.ai,
-
Um, instead of building it from scratch cause they've done a good job and I believe that have a easier enough api to pull in, uh, those tools into your own
-
hich is a reason why I would use, you know, a charting solution, which would be a tradingview or coinagy.
-
right. But if I have one trade that sells at the proper say private level or protects my ass, you know, and uh, and a stop loss scenario, the, the monthly subscription, you know, usually ends up paying for itself at them, the matter of one trade.
-
um, profit off of them or protect my do
-
market order functionality, which a lot of exchanges don't have

Each article therefore offers anddeploys a series of tools for encountering and producing posthumanrhetorics
Herein lies the problem, most notably with the notion of "tools." Issues arise not because of the process by which one tries to complete the task, but rather, through the use of inappropriate tools for the job.The job at hand is to "produce postman rhetorics." This job can be likened to any other sort of carpentry job, say building a bookshelf. If one decides to use a screwdriver to nail into a board, the end product and process will not be as fulfilling. Will the job get done? Probably. Will it produce the same quality as using a hammer would? Probably not. The same can be said when producing posthuman rhetorics: we must find the correct tools to use in order to produce the best work.

In the past, technology has extended the human body, providing it with tools to act upon the world. But at some point, a tool becomes something more. When does it become part of its user?
In this passage, the author is claiming that with transhumanism and the growing appeal of technology as tools to advance or "extend" the human body, it can blur the lines between what is considered human and what is considered technology. For example, the author previously mentions social media and cell phone use in today's world. In today's society, using smartphones has become second nature. The author is implying that in the near future tools and technology such as anabolic steroids, laser surgery, advanced prosthetic limbs, etc can also become as prominent to humans as cellphones/social media is now.

“If you’re going to allow users to turn off something called ‘Location History,’ then all the places where you maintain location history should be turned off,” Mayer said. “That seems like a pretty straightforward position to have.” Google says it is being perfectly clear. “There are a number of different ways that Google may use location to improve people’s experience, including: Location History, Web and App Activity, and through device-level Location Services,” a Google spokesperson said in a statement to the AP. “We provide clear descriptions of these tools, and robust controls so people can turn them on or off, and delete their histories at any time.”
