Along with the proliferation of newsletters and paid journalism spaces, is this another in the litany of sites that do news analysis while chasing eyeballs? Is it following in the tradition of the move from hard news (or tiny amounts of it) to loud news analysis a la Fox News?
Will we see the volume and partisanship increase in this newsletter/paywall space over the next decade until the next thing arrives?

Newsletters are an imperfect antidote to that, allowing writers a closer relationship with a more focused audience.
The ultimate value of newsletters is their more direct connection to a specific niche audience for which they curate news or content. The value they provide readers is as a filter of their area with some some useful analysis and perspective.

It’s a lot more work to give people an interesting puzzle to solve, support them with high expectations all the way through them doing something genuinely compelling and interesting with the synthesis (and they know when you’re just BSing them), and hold them to high standards while also modeling the appropriate behaviors yourself. It’s almost impossible with class sizes upwards of 40 and class periods of 40 minutes and most of the system isn’t actually optimized for achieving that anyway

. And, my gracious Duke, This man hath bewitch’d the bosom of my child
This implies that she was tricked by Lysander into falling in love with him. It downplays Hermia's agency in her relationship with Lysander.
-
Scornful Lysander, true, he hath my love; And what is mine my love shall render him;
Egeus' determination to marry Hermia off to Demetrius without any specific reason other than he is his chosen preference brings into question the relationship between Demetrius and Egeus
-
I beg the ancient privilege of Athens: As she is mine I may dispose of her; Which shall be either to this gentleman Or to her death,
This speaks to the role of women in the Elizabethan era. It might not have been that extreme as the Shakespeare's Athenian laws, but it speaks to the expected relationship between fathers and daughters. Hermia does not seem to have a lot of agency since her father has decided the trajectory of her life, with Demetrius or death.
-
I do entreat your Grace to pardon me. I know not by what power I am made bold, Nor how it may concern my modesty In such a presence here to plead my thoughts: But I beseech your Grace that I may know
In Hermia's pleading, she begins by acknowledging her powerlessness against Theseus and her father. This acknowledgement humbles her and reaffirms the power of the two men. It makes appeal to not marry Demetrius more sorrowful and more likely to have an empathetic ear.
-
To live a barren sister all your life, Chanting faint hymns to the cold fruitless moon.
The imagery of the "cold fruitless moon" implies the Theseus' dislike or disagreement with the lives of nuns. It could also extend to his dislike with the moon herself.
-
One that compos’d your beauties, yea, and one To whom you are but as a form in wax By him imprinted, and within his power
The wax comparison here takes away from Hermia's humanity. The wax takes leaves no room for any deviation from Hermia. Theseus is reminding Hermia that she has no choice.
-
Thou hast by moonlight at her window sung, With feigning voice, verses of feigning love; And stol’n the impression of her fantasy With bracelets of thy hair, rings, gauds, conceits, Knacks, trifles, nosegays, sweetmeats (messengers Of strong prevailment in unharden’d youth)
This sentence downplays the Hermia's intelligence and maturity. Essentially, it labels Hermia as gullible and prone to deception.
-
Come, my Hippolyta. What cheer, my love
It would have been interesting to hear from Hippolyta because she is a woman who did not grow up under the direction of a man.
-
But, being over-full of self-affairs, My mind did lose it.—
His absent-mindness in here shows how unimportant Hermia or even Egeus' reason to marrying his daugther off to Lysander. Theseus' sided with Egeus solely because he is a father, and views him as the authority figure.

O, my love, my love is young!
This line gets to the heart of the poem's meaning, and attaches it to the themes of the collection itself (amorous poetry).
-
For methinks thou stay’st too long.
Here the author rebukes the young "shepherd" that represents the lover, attempting to remove their own temptation.
-
Crabbed age and youth cannot live together
This poem is a lamentation by its author (Shakespeare or other) that age has prevented them from pursuing a younger lover. The author lists each point proving why such a love is incompatible, before shooing away the young lover to cut off temptation.
-
She
In this final stanza, the author again turns to the juxtaposition between positive and negative language. Their lover "burn[s]" with love, implying a positive passion, but they also utilize the negative side of burning to indicate that the love is short-lived. The rhetorical question in the 5th line sums up the poem's question - is the author's lover virtuous, fair, and worthy, or is she a "lecher," lustful and passionate but not to last?
-
Her
The first 2 lines of this stanza act as the first half of each line of the previous stanza did, to emphasize the positive aspects of the relationship between the author and their lover. Then lines 3 and 4 return to the idea of a "false" lover who invents "tales," before wistfully concluding in lines 5 and 6 that the lover's "faith...oaths...tears" were false.
-
Fair
This first 6-line stanza introduces a complex tone. The author, in 5 consecutive lines, praises their lover ("fair", "mild", etc.) before characterizing her in a negative way ("fickle", "brittle", etc.).
-
oaths
Double meaning: The author's lover swears an 'oath' to them of love, a promise, but since that promise is false, according to the final line of the stanza, it also resembles a curse.
-
dye to grace her,
The author implies falseness in their lover, since she appears as a lily, but masks herself in another flower's coloring.
-
whether?
In calling their (female) lover a 'lecher', the author not only implies a gross unchasteness, they imply a masculinity, since lecher was most frequently applied to men.

Mutuality in partnership is another dynamic of inter-organizational relation-ships present in the case. I
example analysis
-
venwith the time it takes to achieve such focus, this kind of alignment increasescredibility for an organization and its partners. It also ensures that campaigngoals have relevance for local constituencies. In this way, organizations like theCenter act as a boundary spanner and intermediary for greater alignment in thefield of organizations working to influence the policy process
example analysis
-
Three prominent characteristics of alignment from the case example are applic-able to the study of alliances:–Shared commitment to policy goals across organizations–Common or complementary approaches to political action and organizing–A mutually agreed upon investment in building strategic capacity across afield of action
example of analysis

uchfindings are instructive for scholarship on coalitions in that they reveal mechan-isms through which intermediaries can foster better alignment in alliances.

Sustainability window analysis is based on the advanced sustainability analysis (ASA) approach. The ASA approach was developed in Finland Futures Research Centre [31,32,33] providing a general framework for analyzing sustainability.
Include this in a comparative analysis of other methodologies such as Hoornweg, Hachaichi, R3.0 Thresholds and Allocations, etc.

"effective and is quite common in politics. This type of argument attempts to undermine a speaker or writer’s ethos. "
Despite this being a logical fallacy, it's interesting to see how it can be effective because it undermines persuasion tactics. This tells me that logical fallacy doesn't always mean ineffective.
-
Interesting to see the ties between Ethos and something so subliminal such as a white coat as the white coat relates to medical profession. This shows me that these persuasion tactics are not just limited to something more direct, and can be subliminal instead.

In contrast, a proactive L&D team will work to identify potential learning needs before they become a significant issue for the company. They’ll source potential needs from employee suggestions and prioritize those needs based on business impact. Sourcing training needs from employees is more accurate and helps you uncover training gaps before they grow.
The L&D team can work with the business, managers, employees, SME's to help with a bottom-up training needs analysis, and this can help with a more democratic learning culture.

they do not form the basis for discovery,
I don't entirely agree with this part of the statement because the digital tools we have allow us to both view information in an entirely new way and to see connections that we couldn't have seen very readily. For example, the ability to take any written work and create a concordance of words can give us great insight that just reading the work would not have. If we wanted to see to what degree society is viewed from a male vs. female perspective between 1920 and 2020 we could analyze specific words in several pieces of literature from those time periods to see how significantly each gender is represented. If not impossible to do before digital tools, it would certainly be so laborious as to render it an insignificant goal in the scheme of humanistic inquiry. Thus we there is a basis for discovery within digital tools.
