    1. enable the blogger to share his or her observations from readings or experiencewith others, just as some seventeenth- century pedagogues advocated sharingnotes within a group.

      Blogs

Blogging is a form of public note sharing that isn't dissimilar to seventeenth-century note sharing practices in group settings.

    1. This article is for those who want to keep traveling despite restrictions due to covid. Basically giving tips on how to navigate the multiple governmental restrictions and policies including links to airline or country websites for choosing destinations. Because of this trend in travel advice in covid times, we may see attitudes towards travel shift to travel knowing the risks involved (quarantine, masks requirements, etc.) and hence see tourism rise again. Last minute covid holiday packages. What if the trend for remaining home also stayed the same for next five years and the adventure seekers become the avatars for the folks who want to stay at home.

The crisis is changing the way how people will enjoy their international holiday, with an extra concern on testing and quarantine expenses and risk taking. That may have an impact on the tourism market, asking the airline companies to provide flexible policies /products and may witness the booming of travel insurance market.

    1. Students learn a great deal by explaining their ideas to others and by participating in activities in which they can learn from their peers. They develop skills in organizing and planning learning activities, working collaboratively with others, giving and receiving feedback and evaluating their own learning.

I completely agree with this. As I stated in my other annotation, being able to collaborate with peers is an excellent way to learn, since you can see/hear other people's thoughts and ideas that you may have not thought of yourself.

    1. Miracles are teaching devices for demonstrating it is as blessed to give as to receive.

Please do not use this statement to justify a charity of any kind. The author speaks about the level of the Mind. When a musician shares his song with others, it hardly means for him it's lost; the spreading makes it stronger and gives him opportunities he didn't have before. The Course takes this idea and brings it to the level where you will be amazed for sure.

If you share a physical possession, you do divide its ownership. If you share an idea, however, you do not lessen it. All of it is still yours although all of it has been given away. T-5.1.1

A major learning goal this course has set is to reverse your view of giving, so you can receive ... God's gifts will never lessen when they are given away. They but increase thereby. W-105.3

To learn that giving and receiving are the same has special usefulness, because it can be tried so easily and seen as true. W-108.6

All that I give is given to myself. W-126

    1. Among the many phenomena we’d tentatively attribute, in large part, to the trend: the rise of sharebait (nee clickbait) and the general BuzzFeedification of traditional media; the Internet hoax-industrial complex, which only seems to be growing stronger; and the utter lack of intelligent online discourse around any remotely complicated, controversial topic.

      sharebait BuzzFeedification Internet hoax-industrial complex

      Priceless!

    1. Evaluate

I believe this is an important skill to have and to teach nowadays. Especially with the readily shareable content on social media people could post things with out critically evaluating what content is saying/where it comes from/if it is credible or not.
